-- WWE has reportedly purchased the Ultimate Pro Wrestling video library.

The California-based UPW — which is now defunct — was often used as a training ground for prospective wrestling talent as it was stepping stone in the development of many past and present mainstream performers including John Cena, Samoa Joe, Chris Masters, Tara (a/k/a Victoria), Christopher Daniels, Jon Heidenreich, The Miz, Melina, Sim Snuka, Mike Knox, SoCal Val and ECW's formerly infrequently seen backstage announcer Lena Yada.

I have seen matches with RVD, Daniels, Joe, Cena, and others from this promotion. Cena got his start there, then went to OVW.

Could be interesting if they ever decide to release a DVD from UPW!

Yeah, but I doubt they will release anything with any TNA guy in it. This will be helpful for when WWE buys TNA though Seriosuly, with so many TNA guys in that promotion, you would think TNA would have bought it, so they could do more complete DVD's of their talent. But no, they are too busy "taking over Monday night" to make good business decisions.

Did they have enough money in their budget to even consider buying UPW's video library after they convinced Hogan to join the promotion though?

Will totally work when Miz gets a DVD. It'll happen eventually, believe that.

Why would you want to spend $30 on a Miz DVD when you could but this 3 Disc DVD instead.
