I haven't gotten all the details worked out but I'll be starting a new WWE BTB soon. I'll probably only do Smackdown, once again, I haven't decided. The first show I'll post will most likely be a draft, as I have a few changes to the roster to make. I wanted to make the thread now, but no details will be made no, further than the ones I already given.

Coding and posting this for MOD this week...

Quote :

Mr McMahon opens the first ECW show with a promo about the new ECW roster and that the first ECW Champion and TV Champion will be crowned soon. He urges tonight's wrestlers to showcase their ability to earn a place in the title matches. Bryan Danielson is seen in the crowd, eyes narrowed. Danielson moves towards the ringside area, shouting unheard things while McMahon tries to continue. Danielson is soon ejected by security guards.

Singles Match -- Primo Colon defeats Caylen Croft with Trent Barretta via diving headbutt at 5:04. Post-match, Barretta and Croft double-team Primo.

Goldust and Yoshi Tatsu take part in a comedic backstage promo hyping up Tatsu’s match with Batista later on. They are interrupted by Darren Young, Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield. Tarver says "it's disgusting that two complete jokes have had Tag Title shots we’ve suffered humiliation on NXT". After Goldust and Tatsu stand their ground, Nexus attack them before it is broken up by officials.

"Prove Yourself" Triple Threat -- Michael McGillicutty pins Husky Harris in a match also featuring Alex Riley via running swinging neckbreaker at 6:32. Post-match, Darren Young, Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield come to the ring and offer McGillicutty a place in Nexus. McGillicutty replies "I'll think about it".

Singles Match -- Batista defeats Yoshi Tatsu via Batista Bomb at 4:37. Post-match, Batista cuts a promo mocking the competition on ECW and stating his intention to get back to Raw or Smackdown – "the proper wrestling shows".

Tommy Dreamer returns and proclaims himself "The Last Extremist" in a passionate promo about what ECW has become. He states he feels it is his job to maintain some element of the true ECW and sets his sights on the World Heavyweight Title. He’s interrupted by The Big Show who tells Dreamer to prove he’s still hardcore tonight in an Extreme Rules match. Dreamer accepts.

Singles Match -- MVP defeats Ted DiBiase via Playmaker at 8:12.

A video package airs about Jamie Noble and his plans to lift gold in ECW. It features footage of Noble winning the WWE Cruiserweight Title to add some credibility to his claims.

Main Event: Extreme Rules Match -- Tommy Dreamer defeats The Big Show via DDT on a steel chair at 9:34.

WWE GX X-Smackdown-Logo

Smackdown starts off with Theodore Long in the ring with his theme blasting through the PA system. Long welcomes the fans to the first Smackdown in the new GX era. He then introduces to the fans the new pay-per-view Northern Lights. He talls everyone that their is one simple concept to the pay-per-view, to give the fans matches they have never seen before, and a show they will never forget. He annonces Sheamus next opponent at Northern Lights, none other than the legendary Shawn Michaels. He also announces a special ten men battler royal for the vacated intercontinental championship, where after six men are eliminated, it changes to a fatal four way elimination match. The winner of the match becames the new intercontinental champion. Then he announces that there was a separation of the tag titles was made. He announced that the WWE Tag Team Champions will be crowned in a tag team ladder match. He states that there will be two tag team qualifying matches tonight with two established teams and two teams that were randomly drawn together. He ends by saying the first of those two matches start now.

WWE GX Jimmy_Yang & WWE GX ThShannon_Moore13 vs. WWE GX CM_Punk & WWE GX 6gb9p1v

Jimmy Yang and Christian start off the match. Yang starts off in the driver seat for the first few minutes with high flying moves. Eventually, Christian gets in the lead following hitting Yang with a dropkick. Christian continues dominance over Yang with various strikes with a quick grapple thrown in every once in awhile. After awhile Jimmy starts getting some offense again but Christian quickly halts his attempts by delivering his devasting falling inverted DDT. He goes for the cover but only gets a two. He then goes for a tag but Punk backs away, refusing to tag in. During this time Shannon Moore gets tagged in and goes straight in offense. Shannon Moore hits a bunch of flashy moves, hurricanrana, springboard crossbody, and a standing moonsault all within the next several minutes of action. Shannon Moore goes for another hurricanrana but this time Christian reverses it into a sitting powerbomb and goes for the pin, getting a two. He then goes to Punk, who is signaling for a tag. Christian jumps to tag him in but Punk jumps off the apron at the same time, mocking Captian Charisma. Christian takes a moment to yell at Punk. By the time Christian returns the match, Yang had been tagged in and was perched on the top rope. Christian turns around and sees Yang flying down, hitting Christian with the Yang Time and getting the three.

Afterwards, Christian and CM Punk get into a war of words for awhile until Christian slaps Punk. The both start fighting with Christian having the advantage over Punk. Gallows, Serena, and The Hooded Member all come out and gang up on Christian. All four of them manage to take down Christian, and then set up for the GTS. Punk hits his finisher manuever on Christian and then picks up a mic. He cuts a typical Straight Edge promo and then targets Christian as a wrestler. After his promo ends, his theme plays on the PA System and the Straight Edge Society makes their exit.

Michael Cole mentions that the next encounter will feature two of the ten men in the Northern Lights battle royal.

WWE GX JTG vs.WWE GX 1204815981_sMattHardy

The match start out with the two hitting small moves on eachother, no one really gaining an advantage. The moves gradually get bigger but remain on a small scale. JTG irish whips Matt off the ropes and then rebounds off the other ropes colliding with Hardy. Both got knocked down as both put up clotheslines. When they get up, JTG starts taunting, garnering a positive reaction with the fans. Matt then does his taunt, and recieves an even bigger reaction. JTG just nods his head and locks up with Hardy. Matt gains the advantage, hitting a suplex and then going for a cover, only getting a one. Matt then locks in numerous submission holds, wearing down JTG. JTG breaks out of every one of those holds within twenty or so seconds, but Matt always manages to stay in control by hitting a move. He hits DDTs, backdrops, russian legsweeps, and sidewalk slams before returning to a hold. This pattern continues but after JTG breaks out of the hold placed after the slam, he gains control by reversing a side effect by smashing his elbows into Matts skull. He then goes for a leapfrog over Matt but transitions it into a leg drop bulldog. He then goes onto the second rope and when Matt gets up, he jumps off and plants him with a leg lariat. His efforts only score him a two count though. JTG then awaits Matt to get up. When he does he runs to Matt, going for Da Shout Out but Matt catches him with an elbow shot. Matt then nails him with a side effect but only gets a two count. He then signals for the end, but JTG manages to reverse the Twist of Fate by pushing Matt away. When Hardy turns around JTG hits him with Da Shout Out and gets the three.

Laylcool are standing in the ring and begin a promo bashing the rest of the divas on the roster. Using their school girls insults to certain divas. Both of them pushing eachother over as the only two divas worthy of the women's championship. The fans then erupt in cheers as the familiar "Legs Like That" starts blasting through the arena as Maria makes her way down the ramp. Maria calls her out and demands a Women's Title match tonight, unless she (Layla) is nothing more than McCool's bitch. Layla agrees and Maria gets a ref out and enters the ring.

Layla goes out on the offensive but is continually reversed by Maria. For the first minute or so, this continues. Layla attempts several different moves but can't land one of them on Maria. Kanellis goes then goes on the offensive but hitting Layla with an enzuigiri. While Layla is groggy, Maria goes for a school boy, only getting a two count. Maria then hits Layla with the Seeing Stars and goes to the top. After hitting a crossbody, she gets another two. Maria goes for the Beautiful Bulldog but is pushed off by Layla, leading to Michelle to distracting Maria by getting on the apron. This distraction allows Layla to hit Maria with the Lay-Out to pick up the win and retain her title.

The match begins with Zack Ryder doing his signature "Whoo Whoo Whoo, You Know It" chant while Hawkins looks on in disgust and just starts shaking his head. Hawkins then jumps on Ryder, nailing him with an impressive amount of mounting blows to his former partner. For the next several minutes, Hawkins hits several of his signature moves, such as a spinning spinebuster and a belly to back suplex. After ducking under a clothesline, Zack plants his own clothesline on Hawkins. Curt is the subsequently hit with the Rough Ryder, and is able to kick out at a two afterwards. Zack goes for the Zack Attack but Hawkins slips out of it. Following a DDT, he tags in his partner, Vance Archer. Archer wastes no time and continues the action with a big boot. Ryder is then hit with a plethora of big man offense like the Pumphandle Slam. Eventually, Ryder starts hitting his own offense, starting with a swinging neckbreaker. After a succession of moves, he goes to the top rope. Flying off, he lands a picture perfect missle dropkick on Vance. Unfortunately, for him, he only scores a two count. He then tags in his partner, Nexus leader Wade Barrett, who instantly turns on his partner. Gabriel, Slater, and Otunga join him, and the Nexus decimate Hawkins, Ryder, and Archer, and the ref calls for the bell.

The assualt continued after the bell rang, as all four Nexus members hit all their finishing moves. David Otunga plants Vance Archer with The Verdict. Slater planted Hawkins with a Jumping Neckbreaker. Wade Barrett hits the Wasteland on Ryder, setting him up for the 450 splash, which Gabriel hit soon after. Barrett then gets on the mic, and says there was no way he was going to carry that joke. He then states how the draft may have saved Raw, and split up the Nexus, but they will remain dominant. He states that he was proud of Young, Sheffield, and Tarver, and says McGillicutty would be wise to align himself with them. He goes on to the Nexus of Smackdown, and states that they were aiming for Tag Team Gold. He demands Teddy comes out and grants him and Gabriel the shot at Northern Lights. Long comes out and tells him, that he can't do that but he can make a triple threat tag match next week, to determine the final spot. It will be Curt Hawkins & Vance Archer vs. Zack Ryder & a partner of his choosing vs. The Nexus, Wade Barrett & Justin Gabriel.

Smackdown returns with Mr. Kennedy in the ring. He begins his promo by announcing that he is one of the ten superstars in the Northern Lights Intercontinental Championship Challenge. He goes on and on about all the reasons he will succeed. Noting his rise to fame quicker than Matt's, and JTG's lack of credibility. He then mentions his numerous accolades, such as beating over ten world champions, winning the United States Championship, and winning the Money in the Bank. He then begins to declare himself as the next Intercontinental Champion but before he can get the second Kennedy out, Morrison interrupts him. He states that with him in the Northern Lights Intercontinental Championship Challenge, Kennedy doesn't have a shot in hell of winning. Morrison then went on to list his much more extensive title wins, eventually irratating Kennedy enough to attack him. The two brawl for a few minutes until both are knocked down by simultaneously hit with clothesline. All of a sudden, "Slow Chemical" blasts through after an unexpected fire burst happens, Kane is coming. Kane enters the ring, and wraps his hand around the recovering Kennedy. He quickly throws him out of the ring. He turns his attention towards, Morrison, who is using the ropes to get up. Kane big boots Morrison, causing him to fall out of the ring, over the top rope. Kane returns to the center of the ring, lifts his hands up, and slams them down, setting off the flames in the turnbuckle.

Sheamus comes out and states he needs some competition to warm him up for Shawn Michaels. He says he doesn't care who, as he is positive, that none of them pose a threat to him. When nobody comes out, he continues talking. Stating such career accomplishments as beating Cena multiple times, putting Triple H on the shelf for months, being a two time WWE Champion. He stops when he realizes that he is just, "scaring the babies even more". He turns his attention to the referee. He malicous grabs the ref, and tells him, that it looks like he'll be his warm up, but all of a sudden, Shawns music starts playing. Sheamus lets go of the ref and turns, only to find Gregory Helms emerge wearing Shawn's attire. Helms first tells the fans that this isn't to disrespect Shawn, this is to glorify him and that if Sheamus wants to get a warm up for the Heart Break Kid, Helms figured he should get in character. He then tells the fans, "That even though I'm no longer a superhero, I'll still be your hero". He drops the microphone and enters the ring.

WWE GX Th_Sheamus vs. WWE GX ThGregory_Helms3

Sheamus starts off with a grin, and goes for a lock up. Only using small moves like headlocks, pushes, and takedowns. After a couple of minutes, Helms manages to sneak behind him, and hit him with the Nightmare On Helms Street. Going for the immediate cover, but only getting a two. Sheamus then backs away from Helms, to regroup. Gregory then taunts him with a DX crotch chop, making Sheamus charge at him with a clothesline, which Helms avoids and almost hits another Nightmare On Helms Street, but Sheamus counters with an uppercut, while Helms is recovering, Sheamus nails him with a short-arm clothesline. Sheamus then gains the advantage, and continues playing with Helms for a bit. This leads to him irish whips Helms to the outside but Helms manages to skin the cat. Sheamus then attempts to throw him out again but Helms starts to skin the cat again. Sheamus grabs his legs, but Helms gains advantage here and locks his legs around Sheamus skull. He then uses his legs and the ropes to throw Sheamus to the outside. When Sheamus gets up and turns around, he collides with Helms, hitting him with a springboard moonsault to the the outside.

The match returns to see Sheamus in the ring, applying a dragon sleeper on Helms. After a minute of Helms refusing to give up, Sheamus unlocks the hold and goes for a cover instead, only getting a two. During the minute, we find out that during the break, Sheamus lifted Helms up and drove him into the ring side to control dominance in the match. Sheamus hits various power moves on Helms, attempting to get the three after each one but failing. He then hits him with a vertical suplex powerslam pin but only gets a two. He then returns to submission, applying a surfboard strech on Helms, but still unable to get him to tap. Sheamus picks him up and Helms starts up with the offense again. Hitting him with multiple chops, and shots to the head, backing the WWE Champion into the corner. Helms then hits him with a hurricarana, and follows up with flying forearm smash, and returns to his feet with a kip-up. Helms continues with Shawn's patterned moveset by planting Sheamus with a diving elbow drop, before tuning up the band. Sheamus manages to duck under the Sweet Chain Music, and was then able to hit his Brogue Kick. He goes for a cover but only gets a two. He tries to end this by going for the the Irish Curse but Helms battles out with elbow blows, and after Sheamus was in position, he hits the Sweet Chin Music. Gregory goes for the cover, one... two... kick out! Both Sheamus and Helms return to their feet at the same time, with Sheamus hitting a hard knee to the skull of Helms. He then goes for the Crucifix Powerbomb, but Helms quickly reverses it into a roll up, getting the three on the WWE Champion Sheamus.

The show opens with Mr McMahon updating "the WWE Universe" on who will be facing who for the ECW Title: Batista and MVP due to their wins last week. Again Bryan Danielson is seen in the crowd near the barrier, shouting things at McMahon. Security guards move towards him but this time McMahon tells them to let Bryan through. Danielson enters the ring and rants about his firing from WWE being "nonsensical and unfair". McMahon says Danielson can have his job back - if he joins the Kiss My Ass Club. He drops his pants but Danielson refuses, instead locking in the Cattle Mutilation. Then Shane McMahon sprints down the ramp with a kendo stick and attacks Danielson. Vince then tells Bryan he'll face Shane at Northern Lights and if he wins, he gets his job back. The McMahons then both attack Danielson, leaving him bloodied.

Singles Match -- Trent Barreta with Caylen Croft defeats Primo via simultaneous powerbomb (Croft) / neckbreaker (Barreta) combination at 6:17.

Singles Match -- Jamie Noble defeats Husky Harris via Paydirt at 5:26.

The Big Show comes out and cuts a promo about how he's sick of chances slipping through his fingers, sick of being a utility man and sick of being disrespected by the wrestlers and fans. He then picks out a jeering muscular stage plant to step up and take him on. Show quickly destroys the guy, finishing with a chokeslam before leaving.

Singles -- Michael McGillicutty pins Alex Riley via running swinging neckbreaker at 8:29. Post-match, Riley has a temper tantrum and pushes over the referee.

Tag Team Match -- Goldust & Yoshi Tatsu defeat Michael Tarver & Skip Sheffield with Darren Young via DQ at 1:34 when Young, Tarver and Sheffield group attack Goldust and Tatsu. As the Nexus exit up the ramp, Goldust gets on the mic and challenges them to a six-man tag match at Northern Lights as he has a mystery partner in mind. The Nexus accept.

Tommy Dreamer enters Mr McMahon's office and asks why he wasn't given a spot in the ECW Title match despite beating Big Show last week. Vince chuckles to himself and tells Dreamer to "simply try harder". Tommy is frustrated and questions McMahon's judgement which the boss doesn't appreciate. After mocking Dreamer's hardcore style, Vince books him against Shad Gaspard in an Extreme Rules match - up next.

Extreme Rules -- Tommy Dreamer defeats Shad Gaspard via DDT on a steel chair at 6:54.

Darren Young, Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield approach Michael McGillicutty backstage. Tarver wants to know if he's in or not. McGillicutty says he still hasn't made his mind up. Sheffield warns their patience won't last forever and then the Nexus make their exit.

Main Event Singles Match -- Ted DiBiase defeats MVP via Batista Bomb at 8:47 after Batista interferes. Post-match, MVP and Batista brawl with MVP getting the advantage, hitting the Playmaker on the stage and posing to the fans delight.

When we return, Slater and Otunga joined them and the four continue to punish Ryder, Hawkins and Archer, for a few minutes. Once they clear the ring, Barrett gets on the microphone and states that the Nexus will achieve great success at Northern Lights. He promises that it will be much greater, than a victory over Goldust and company, and winning the tag team gold.

Meanwhile backstage, Josh Matthews catches up to Dolph and asks him why he betrayed Ryder. Ziggle says he's a smart man, and he made a smart deal with the Nexus, before leaving.

Teddy Long appears on the tron next, as he has a few announcement. Teddy first says that due to Helms performance last week, he is officialy in the Northern Lights Intercontinental challenge and that because of upper powers, so is Drew McIntyre. The match starts off pretty equally, but Gallows strength eventually leads him to gaining the lead. Luke remains in control, with Christian only hitting offense now and again. We return to see Luke once again in the drivers seat, locking on a devasting submission on Christian. We see a clip of Gallows throwing Christian face first into the steel steps. After a few power suplexs, Gallows begins trying to hit the Twelfth Step, but Christian keeps getting out. After his third attemt, Christian not only escapes but starts to regain momentuem. The match begins with Shawn almost hitting the Super Kick. Sheamus exits the ring, as Shawn does his signature pose. Sheamus re-enters the ring and they lock up. Shawn continously locks in headlocks, and applies takedowns, which leads to Sheamus breaking out and hit should blocks (after whipping Shawn off), short-arm clotheslines, and back body drops, before locking up with Shawn once more. This goes on for the course of several minutes, before Sheamus breaks out and almost hit Shawn with the Brogue Kick. Michaels then fires back by hitting him with multiple backhand chops on Sheamus, directing him to the turnbuckle. After hitting ten blows on Sheamus, Shawn sets up for a tornado DDT, but when he goes for it, Sheamus throws him off, and Shawn collides with the mat. Sheamus charges forward to hit the Brogue Kick but Shawn nails him Sweet Chin Music instead. Michaels only manages to get a two count from it though.

Sheamus goes for the cover but just like Shawn, was only able to get a two count.

Sheamus doesn't stop the attack, he picks Shawn up and hits him with the Irish Curse, twice in a row before going for another cover. Once again, the resiliency of Shawn Michaels pulls through as Shawn manages to get his shoulder up. Sheamus then nails Shawn with a devasting clothesling, bringing both down. Sheamus then goes for the Crucifix Powerbomb but Shawn reverses once more and hits Sheamus with his old finisher, the Teardrop Suplex. Michaels applies the Modified Figure Four Lock on Sheamus, who struggles to get to the rope. After he does, he avoids Shawn's attempt to hit him with the Super Kick, and instead is able to set him up for the Crucifix Powerbomb again. This time, Sheamus manages to hit it but the ropes save Shawn Michaels. Sheamus brings Michaels to the middle of the ring, but it backfires on him and Shawn plants the Super kick and both men fall to the ground. Once Van Dam throws Kaval back into the ring, he loses control. As when he tries to get back into the ring, Kaval hits him with a baseball slide. Followed by a springboard Warrior's Way to Van Dam (who was standing). The ref begins counting, and gets to eight when Kaval re-enters the ring. Kaval exits a second later, and brings Dam back into the ring. Dam manages to roll Kaval up with an inside cradle but Kaval kicks out after two. The two then continously go for covers, both ultimately only acheiving two counts. RVD ends the pattern by striking Kaval with a roundhouse kick. Raw returns with a video package showcasing the feud between Jack Swagger and Kurt Angle. Afterwards, The Nexus make their way out to the ring, and await their opponents. Their first opponent and Captain Charisma, Christian. Christian reminds them that just last Smackdown, he took a shot from his own rookie, and was made to be nothing more than an afterthought of the Nexus. Next, Jimmy Yang comes out, and reminds them of Northern Lights, of them unfairly taking Moore and his well-earned championships. Zack Ryder comes out and reminds Barrett of the time they were partners, and he was betrayed. He then reminds them that they influenced Ziggler, to betray him, aswell. Finally, John Cena comes out, and states he shouldn't have to mention, what the Nexus did to him, costing him the WWE Championship. He then says that the Nexus better be prepared to suffer their first loss, he drops the microphone, and the four wrestlers charge the ring.

Eight Man Tag Team Elimination Match: John Cena, Zack Ryder, Jimmy Yang, & Christian vs. The Nexus

Yang and Gabriel start off, and Yang is beating Justin. He hits multiple manuevers, enzuigiris, sunset flips, dropkicks, and headscissors takedowns. Gabriel tags in Otunga, who comes in and quickly evens the playing field. In fact, he shortly hits Yang with The Verdict, getting the three and eliminating him (3:54). Ryder then enters the ring and starts brawling with David. Otunga quickly tags Gabriel back in, who hits Ryder with a spin kick. Zack manages to create himself an oppurtunity to hit the Rough Ryder, but misses, and Gabriel hits him with a kick to the face. He then goes to the top rope, and hits the 450 splash and a cover to eliminate Ryder (6:21). Christian and Cena give eachother a look and then Christian enters, and starts to light up the ring. He continously punches Gabriel down, who manages to tag in Slater, who doesn't make much of a difference. Christian eventually throws Slater out of the ring. He then follows up by springboarding from the corner into a plancha, knocking Slater down.

The show returns with Slater applying a single legged boston crab on Christian. We see that during the break, Slater got a free lowblow due to the Nexus distracting the referee. Christian manages to break out, and tries to get momentuem flowing on his side but to no avail, as Slater ducks under one of Christian's clotheslines, and hits Christian with a jumping neckbreaker. Slater drags Christian to his corner and tags in Barrett. Wade lifts Christian up and sets up for the Wasteland, but Christian battles out and hits Wade with a falling inverted DDT. Christian finally manages to tag in Cena, who just goes crazy upon entering. He completely dominates the enite Nexus, contiously knocking each of the four down with running leaping shoulder blocks, lariats, one-handed bulldogs, and throwbacks. Eventually, Cena hits Otunga with his belly to back suplex lifted twisted into a modified side slam, followed by the Five-Star Knuckle Shuffle. He then hits Slater with a drop-toe hold into an STFU. Gabriel comes to the rescue for Slater, and attempts to hit Cena with a springboard crossbody but is caught in mid-air. Cena then throws him on his shoulders, and delivers the FU on Justin. Unfortunately, when Cena turns around, Barrett picks him up and hits him with the Wasteland, scoring the three count and eliminating Cena (16:18). Barrett then awaits for Christian to come back into the ring. After thinking for a bit, Christian charges forth at Wade but is lifted up in position for the Wasteland. Christian once again gets out and plants the Unprettier on Barrett, scoring the three and eliminating the WWE Champion (16:57). Slater then comes from behind and hits Christian with the Jumping Russian Legsweep, and wins the match for the Nexus.

Smackdown begins with Teddy Long in the ring, he doesn't have the usual expression, as he seems a bit upset. He tells fans that with everything that's been going down, especially him being attacked by Nexus, that he is retiring for being the general manager of Friday Night Smackdown! He says that he is going to leave a lasting impression on the Smackdown though. First, he wants to talk about Summerslam. Long right off the bat, announces three matches for Summerslam, Maria & Melina vs. LayCool for the women's Championship, whoever gets the pin, becomes the women's champion. John Morrison vs. Mr. Kennedy, best two out of three falls. Finally, Christian vs. CM Punk. Long then says that he has signed a bunch of new wrestlers to Smackdown but had to let go of some wrestlers. Before he can mention any of those guys, The Straight Edge Society interrupts him. Punk states that there is no way he is facing Christian, unless it's worthwhile for him. He commands Teddy to make it into a number one contender's match, the winner going on to face The WWE Champion at the next PPV. Long agrees and tells Punk that this news off releasing wrestlers invovles him. Punk questions him why and Long says because, Gallows, Serena, and Mercury are all on that list. After Punk's arguement, Long tells Punk if either of those two can beat Christian tonight, that they won't be released, but no one can interfere. The S.E.S. talk it over, and Punk says Gallows can do it. They make their exit, and Long states that Tyler Reks, Drew McIntyre, Vance Archer, and Chris Masters have all been let go. He calls out the new superstars, The Boogeyman, Charlie Haas, Paul London, Brian Kendrick, Elijah Burke, Robert Roode, and James Storm. He tells them that which every one of them remains undefeated the longest, will get a WWE championship match on the very next Smackdown. Nexus, and WWE Champion Wade Barrett then comes out. He tells Teddy that they won't be attacking him, if he plays along, and that he doesn't care about any of these guys. He reminds Teddy that Christian embarressed him on Raw, being the first person to pin him since the Nexus formed, and that he was hoping for revange. Michaels comes out and suggests turning the main event into a tag team match, Shawn and Christian vs. Barrett and Gallows. Long agrees, and tells Barrett that if any interference happens, he'll be stripped of the title. He then tells him, that right now, Nexus is out-numbered.

Wade Barrett for example, hits Shawn with two Wastelands in a row. Soon, Gregory Helms ascendes the top rop, and jumps down, crashing into the Nexus. Helms helps Michaels but the Nexus still overwhelm them, until flames erupt on the stage and Kane comes out to their aid. Due to Michaels and Helms already being weakend, the Nexus are able to beat down on Kane after awhile. All of a sudden, a familiar bell rings twice, and the arena goes pitch black. It rings once more, and the Undertaker is standing in the middle of the ring. Undertaker manages to hold all four off long enough for the others to be able to get back on track. Matt ascends to the second rope and dives down, driving his elbow into the back of the head of Ziggler. Hardy sends Ziggler to the turnbuckle, where he gets hit but a hard clothesline. Matt tries to go for a bulldog but is pushed off by Ziggler, who quickly plants Matt with a sickening inverted body slam. Ziggler then continues in the lead, knocking Matt down with many of moves affecting the neck and head of Matt. Leading to Dolph applying the sleeper hold but Matt dashes to the ropes and calls for a rope break. Dolph goes for a clothesline but is caught and hit with a side effect. Matt then hits him with a Twist Of Fate and gets the three count.

Singles Match: WWE Champion Wade Barrett vs. ???

The rest of Nexus surround the ring as WWE Champion Wade Barrett patiently awaits his opponent and Helms replacement. "Voices" by Rev Theory blasts through the PA System and Randy Orton makes his way down the ring. The Nexus then charge at Orton, and Kane comes out to the aid of Randy. They manage to take down Gabriel, Otunga, and Slater, just in time for Orton to step on the apron. Wade and the referee wait for Orton to step in the ring. Barrett is turned around and Superkicked by none other than Shawn Michaels. The bells toll three times and Undertaker appears, with Barrett on his shoulders, Wade gets out of the possible Tombstone Piledriver, and escapes out of the ring. The Nexus, the Smackdown champions, stare into the ring as they walk to the back stage. Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, Kane, and The Undertaker all do their signature taunt to close the show.

ECW TV 17-08-10

The show opens with Mr McMahon in the ring, flanked by Alex Riley, The Big Show and Shad Gaspard. McMahon tells the world that at SummerSlam it will be these three wrestlers vs Bryan Danielson, Sabu and Tommy Dreamer in an Extreme Rules six man tag. The said men come out onto the stage and demand the match happens tonight. Instead McMahon books Riley vs Danielson and tells Sabu and Dreamer that they will be fired if they interfere during the match.

Backstage in the locker room, Husky Harris asks Ted DiBiase Jr if he's managed to impress Ted enough to team with him. DiBiase says no, telling him to beat his opponent tonight and "we'll talk more".

Singles Match -- Goldust defeats Husky Harris via Golden Age at 5:03. Post-match, DiBiase comes out and tells Harris that he's out of shape and lacking in talent; "I would never team with someone who can't beat a gold freak".

A vignette plays where a new wrestler is hyped; Osiris. While walking through the streets of Baltimore with a black baseball bat, Osiris talks of how ECW lacks truth and virtue and that wrestlers have the choice between converting or being decimated.

Singles Match -- Alex Riley defeats Bryan Danielson via chair-shot at 9:23. During the match, Mr McMahon, The Big Show and Shad Gaspard hit the ring, attack the ref and beat down Danielson before McMahon acts as ref for Riley's pinfall. As soon as the match is over, Sabu and Tommy Dreamer hit the ring and take out McMahon and his crew.

Booker T comes to the ring with Goldust and Yoshi Tatsu as protection. He calls out Joe Hennig, who walks onto the stage and trash talks. Booker proposes they have a Steel Cage match at SummerSlam which Joe agrees to. Then Darren Young, Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield come through the crowd and jump Booker, Goldust and Tatsu from behind. Hennig enters the ring and hits his running swinging neckbreaker on Booker.

Eight-Man Tag match -- MVP, Jamie Noble, Carlito & Primo defeat Batista, Ted DiBiase Jr, Caylen Croft & Trent Barretta via Play of the Day on Croft at 14:34. Post-match, Batista brawls with MVP, Noble with DiBiase, Carlito with Barretta and Primo with Croft.
