I'm ashamed to say I haven't read anything proper in the past year. A few sports autobiographies if they count? In which case, Dennis Rodman's was pretty interesting.

| "Son remember when you fight to be free To see things how they are and not how you'd like em to be Because even when the world is fallin' on top of me Pessimism is an emotion, not a philosophy"
^At the very least, these are my favorite lyrics from any rap ever, especially the last line. Which got me thinking, what are some of your favorite lyrics, in rap or any genre?
Also, I've heard a few more Immortal Technique, rather liked Death March and Dance With The Devil but You Never Know is phenomenal. It's up there with Mistakes, Changes, Crossroads, I Tried, Little Man, & a quite a few Eminem tracks as one of my favorite rap songs ever.

VERY tough question. It's difficult to choose specific lyrics and not entire songs, but then with the latter, the melody and other musical aspects would surely hold some weight in my decision. Nothing stands out as a true favourite so I'll just give you some specific passages I like a lot... About his whereabouts I wasn't convinced I kept feeding her money til her shit started to make sense Who could ever foresee, we used to stay up all night At slumber parties, now I'm tryna rock this bitch to sleep All the years we were real close, now I see his fears Through her tears, know she's wishing we were still close Don't cry, it is to be, in time I'll take away your miseries and make it mineD'Evils - Jay-ZI don't want to take what you can give I would rather starve than eat your breast All the things that others want for me Can't buy what I want because it's freeCorduroy - Pearl JamI took my love, I took it down Climbed a mountain and I turned around And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills Til the landslide brought it down Oh, mirror in the sky What is love? Can the child within my heart rise above? Can I sail through the changin' ocean tides? Can I handle the seasons of my life?Landslide - Fleetwood MacAlso, nice selection of favourite rap songs.

| ^Some great choices there, especially Landslide. Those lyrics you posted are 83% of the reason I absolutely love that song. All the lyrics are great those, definitely the best of the aspect of that song. Anyway, two questions . . .
I. How would you rank my favorite rap songs (minus the Eminem ones since I didn't specify obviously) from best to worst?
II. Ever seen Breaking Bad?

Purple Rain or SoCo lemonade. Love the taste of them both but they're not suitable for a messy night out. If I'm trying to get drunk, double vodka and mixer, usually either lemonade or an energy drink.

| Three questions . . .
I. Thoughts on Eminem's new single, Berzerk?
II. Doubt you've seen it but thoughts on Futurama's finale? If you didn't, thoughts on it ending [again].
III. Do you have any thoughts on the confirmed Futurama/Simpsons crossover that'll be happening?

III. Do you have any thoughts on the confirmed Futurama/Simpsons crossover that'll be happening? Not impressed. He's clearly channelling the Beastie Boys and the beat is alright, but everything else is very disappointing. In general, the lyrics are nothing special, especially poor considering this is a rapper many call "THE GREATEST LYRICIST OF ALL-TIME EVER!!!". What's up with that first verse? I can't stand that stupid high-pitched voice he does at the end of each line. Oh and the hook is really weak, sounding like an awkward cross between a corny Recovery single and a country rock song. All in all, pretty awful tbh. No, I haven't seen it. Could be a shot in the arm to both cartoons. The Simpsons definitely needs it!

| ^Definitely with you on Eminem's new track. Probably not checking out his new album unless a later single convinces me otherwise.
It was a good episode, great finale. One of those kind of deals but I really enjoyed it probably because it heavily focused on Fry & Leela's relationship and just about all the best episodes from the newer seasons have (a few exceptions, most notably Game of Tones which is probably my favorite from the new stuff [though it probably has the most problems, funny how much emotion can overcome problems]). You seen anything from the last season?
And boy, you're right about The Simpsons. They've needed it for about sixteen years. Not really a fan of the plot though, Bender going back in time to kill Bart sounds bad in several ways. But I love Futurama enough to give it a go (I'll also watch the Family Guy/Simpsons crossover but more because I'm curious to how terrible it'll be).
