Plans For Top NXT Star Halted Indefinitely

Plans for NXT star Kassius Ohno, f.k.a. Chris Hero, to join the main roster have apparently been put on hold.
According to a source, the creative team had a storyline to introduce Ohno this summer. People within the company were impressed with his in-ring skills and his promos, and had asked him to improve his physique while creative worked on his introduction. According to trainers at NXT, Ohno seemed reluctant in the weightlifting and gym sessions, although he continued to receive high marks for his overall attitude and the great effort in his daily in-ring sessions.

Word got back to Triple H about Ohno dodging gym time, and he was removed from TV tapings. Ohno has missed two tapings in the past few weeks, and there is said to be increased concern about his status with the company. A lot of people are still high on him, but this could prove to be costly for one of the top prospects in WWE's developmental system.

Really? Because he's not adding bulk he's being punished? It's a lot harder to do some of the more athletic things Hero's known for when your muscles are buldging. Plus, it's not like he isn't a big guy anyway.

Bastard is right on the money with the bodies capability of performing at the level of athleticism previously seen from Hero, if he were to increase muscle size. Granted I have not seen much of Chris Hero in NXT, but before he let ROH for WWE he looked primed for WWE with the look he had there. The transformation from how he has looked in recent years was amazing, so this news comes as a bit of a shock. I am not too disappointed that his promotion to the main roster has been put on hold when we have already seen enough people being put on the main roster. So, it may be wise for WWE to simmer down on that for the time being.

He's pretty much exactly the same as he was just when he left ROH. Still throwing elbows and knocking people out. Still does his one leap to top rope then backflips off etc.

I remember when KoW were signed and were told they didn't have to go through FCW.
Then FCW got rebranded, that crafty WWE.

I know of this dude in NXT right now. This dude only got into NXT because he was at a gym that Triple H went to. He had no ring experience and they flew him down. Waited for his testosterone levels to even out, cause he was doing steroids, and then gave him a shot. He's even getting a bit of a push. They obviously care more about muscle, than ring experience.
