Hey guys, I want to take you back to 10 years ago this past June:
It was the night that STING joined the Wolfpack
Now, it was a battle of the nWo supremecy as Hogan & The Giant were taking on Kevin Nash and Lex Luger, but then out of nowhere came STING!
Sting had on a jacket, but underneath, STING had the nWo Black & White T-Shirt, but then, he clotheslined Hogan and scoop slammed The Giant and then STING took off the Black & White and he joined the Wolfpack.
Konnan, Savage and Hennig came in for the celebration and Hogan and The Giant were beside themselves and it took the entire nWo Hollywood to restrain them
Bischoff, nWo STING, Buff, Norton, Adams, Scott Steiner, Bret Hart, The Disciple Ed Leslie and others.
However, @ The Great American Bash '98, Goldberg def. Konnan to retain the U.S. Heavyweight Title, but then Hennig turned on Konnan and he and the late Rick Rude rejoined the Black & White nWo and prior to that, Miss Elizabeth also rejoined the nWo Black & White and kissed Eric Bischoff and then the following week, Macho Man suffered a torn knee that had put him out for 6 months.
But @ The Great American Bash '98, STING would def. The Giant w/3 Scorpion Death Drops to win the WCW World Tag Team Titles and then the following night, he chosed Kevin Nash as his Tag Team Partner.
and so, The Wolfpack was left w/Nash, STING, Luger and Konnan.
and that's your look @ an event that is 10 years in the making:
STING joins the Wolfpack and Hennig & Liz rejoins nWo Hollywood
and now, here's a Video Clip of STING joining the nWo Wolfpack and Hogan and The Giant were beside themselves.

It was fun and all, but he really didn't fit. Or at least, not at the time. The Sting from two years earlier would have been perfect, but he just made such a big transformation into the quiet loner character. Not to mention he fought Nash for so long, only to join him in the end.

It made sense seeing as the nWo Wolfpac was a group of the most over faces in the company but it seemed a little weird as MTM said. Sting didn't fit in with the cool gimmick of the nWo but I enjoyed the Wolfpac and felt it was a great stable to fight against Hollywood.

I agree, I don't think that STING and Luger fit in the Wolfpack, but it was also a sad year for WCW b/c the Tag Team Division was dying slowly and Bret Hart wasn't being pushed in Main Events.
and also, I've added a Video Clip of that moment when STING joined the Wolfpack.

I know that this is really old but I felt that I should say that later on it was revealed that that wasn't the real Sting. The real Sting started showing up while this Sting was wrestling. There was a big mess behind it. The back drop is that Sting didn't want to turn heel but the company was pushing it so he tried to leave. They got this fake Sting and then the real Sting returned because he didn't want his character played like that. So they made it the same way they did the Undertaker ordeal when the Undertaker had a back injury and they bought this fake undertaker to replace him and the real Undertaker came back. Same story different brand.

TNALDF, why do you always capitilize Sting's name?

The whole nWo thing was cool and fun to watch, but it's sad that TNA is trying to do that same thing, trying to divide the company in two strong groups like WCW did with nWo and then nWo Wolfpack.
