FLORIDA CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING TELEVISION REPORT

We begin tonight’s show with a look back at last week’s match between Joe Hennig and Sheamus O’Shaunessy for the Florida Title.
Your announcers are Dusty Rhodes and Josh Mathews.

Match Number One: DJ Gabriel with Alicia Fox versus Eric Escobar

They lock up and Gabriel with an arm drag take down. Escobar with a head scissors but Gabriel escapes the hold. Escobar works on the arm and Gabriel with a snap mare. Gabriel trips Escobar and then Escobar avoids Gabriel. Escobar with an arm bar and Irish whip but Gabriel moves out of the way. Gabriel gets Escobar up for a suplex but drops him on his chest. Gabriel with an Irish whip into the turnbuckles and he gets a near fall. Gabriel with a waist lock but Escobar gets out of the hold. Gabriel with a knee to the midsection for a near fall. Gabriel with a body scissors to Escobar. Escobar with a leg lariat to Gabriel followed by an arm drag. Escobar hits Latino Temper but Gabriel with a pump handle belly-to-back suplex and then he goes up top but he has second thoughts. Escobar with a rollup and bridge for the three count.
Winner: Eric Escobar

Before our next match, Byron Saxton gets on the mic and he says that The Conglomerate is saddened tonight because a man they once looked to as a hero let another man do his dirty work. That man is Johnny Prime. He says that Prime had Cena do his dirty work. We see footage from last week when Cena FUed Saxton.. Saxton says that Cena won’t be here tonight, and he hopes that Prime will be the hero and role model that they hope he is.

Match Number Two: Lawrence Knight with Byron Saxton versus Johnny Prime

Prime goes after Saxton and that allows Knight to attack him and he connects with punches and knees. Prime with a kick to Knight but Knight with a running boot to Prime. Knight gets a near fall and then he punches Prime. Knight chokes Prime in the ropes. Knight with a cravate. Prime returns to his feet and he gets out of the hold but Knight with an elbow to the head. Knight gets Prime on his shoulders but Prime with a sunset flip for the three count.
Winner: Johnny Prime

After the match, Tyson Tarver forces Prime back into the ring. Prime is able to outsmart Tarver, Knight, and Saxton as he escapes the ring.

Sheamus O’Shaunessy comes to the ring and he has something to say. He proved why he is still the FCW Champion. He tells Joe Hennig that he put up a good fight, but ultimately, he proved that he is the better man. He decided that there will be no more title matches for Joe Hennig. He says that he is looking forward to his next victim. Sheamus says that he will remain the king of FCW.

Steve Keirn comes out and he goes to the ring. Keirn tells Sheamus that he knows that Sheamus might not be happy about having to defend the title. Steve tells Sheamus that he will face Joe Hennig tonight and if Joe wins tonight, next week Sheamus will defend the title against Joe Hennig. Sheamus is not happy about Keirn’s announcement. .

Match Number Three: Drew McIntyre versus Kaleb O’Neal versus Sebastian Slater versus Johnny Curtis

All four men start off in the ring and Curtis goes after McIntyre while O’Neal and Slater square off. McIntyre goes after Slater while Slater deals with O’Neal. O’Neal and McIntyre focus on Curtis after Slater is sent to the floor. O’Neal punches Curtis and then Slater with a clothesline to O’Neal while Curtis hits McIntyre with a back elbow. Slater punches O’Neal while McIntyre and Curtis make their way to the floor. Slater with a drop kick to O’Neal’s knee and then Slater works on the hamstring and then he sets up O’Neal in the figure four leg lock. McIntyre and Curtis continue to battle on the floor while they watch Slater put O’Neal in a submission hold. Curtis eventually gets back into the ring but O’Neal has reversed the hold. Curtis with a camel clutch while O’Neal has the figure four reversed. McIntyre hits an inverted suplex on Curtis and he gets a near fall while O’Neal charges at Slater and O’Neal goes over the top rope to the floor when Slater ducks down. Meanwhile, McIntyre only gets a two count on Curtis. Slater clotheslines McIntyre over the top rope to the floor and then Slater sends McIntyre into the ring steps.

While McIntyre, O’Neal, and Slater fight on the floor; Curtis climbs the turnbuckles and hits a somersault splash onto all three men. Curtis punches McIntyre and brings him into the ring and hits a slingshot leg drop from the apron but Slater breaks up the cover. Slater with a forearm to Curtis but he is tripped by O’Neal when he comes off the ropes and Slater is pulled to the floor. Curtis with a spinning heel kick to McIntyre but O’Neal gets Curtis up and hits Splash Mountain. Slater hits Sweetness on O’Neal but McIntyre with a kick to Slater and then he gets the three count on O’Neal.
Winner: Drew McIntyre

Match Number Four: Joe Hennig versus Sheamus O’Shaunessy in a Non-Title Match

They lock up and Sheamus tries to punch Hennig on the break but Hennig avoids the punch and he punches Sheamus. The ref pulls Hennig off and Hennig is distracted long enough for Sheamus to kick him. Hennig sends Sheamus into the turnbuckles and then Sheamus backs away from Hennig. Sheamus with a side head lock and Hennig tries to escape but Sheamus continues to apply it. Sheamus with a shoulder tackle but Hennig with a kick and slam. Hennig with a drop kick that sends Sheamus out of the ring. Sheamus takes his time returning to the ring, and he pulls Hennig to the floor. Hennig blocks a punch and he responds with one of his own. Sheamus returns to the ring and Hennig with a shoulder to Sheamus but Sheamus knocks Hennig off the apron to the floor.

Sheamus goes after Hennig on the floor and he sends Hennig into the apron. They return to the ring and Sheamus with a near fall. Hennig with punches but Sheamus with forearms to the back. Sheamus with a slam to Hennig followed by an elbow drop. Sheamus with a kick and then he sends Hennig shoulder first into the ring post. Sheamus does it one more time and Hennig goes to the floor as he shows the effect of being sent into the post repeatedly. Sheamus pulls Joe back into the ring and he gets a near fall. Sheamus with a key lock on Hennig. Hennig with an inside cradle for a near fall. Sheamus responds by sending Hennig to the mat and then he returns to the key lock. Hennig gets to his feet and Sheamus misses a charge into the corner. Hennig with a belly-to-belly suplex for a two count. Hennig with a leap frog neck breaker for a near fall. Hennig tries to set up for the Son of Perfectplex, but Sheamus also kicks Hennig in the gut. Hennig with another drop kick for a near fall. Hennig tries for Son of Perfectplex but Sheamus escapes the attempt and he hits a clothesline on Hennig. Sheamus misses a bicycle kick and Hennig hits the Son of Perfectplex for the three count.
Winner: Joe Hennig

Match Number Five: Carson Oakley and Scotty Goldman versus TJ Wilson and DH Smith for the FCW Tag Titles

Goldman and Wilson start things off and Goldman sends Wilson into the corner. They lock up and Wilson works on the arm but Goldman reverses and he gets a cover after a leg sweep. Wilson tries for a kick but Goldman blocks it and he takes Wilson down to the mat again. Smith tags in and Smith with a kick and then he works on the arm. Smith gets Goldman in a hammer lock and throw. Smith goes to the leg and Goldman gets to the ropes. Goldman with a cross body for a near fall. Oakley tags in and he hits a slingshot sunset flip while Goldman holds on to Smith and Oakley gets a near fall. Wilson tags back in and Oakley with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Wilson backs into the corner to recover. Wilson with a side head lock but he misses an enzuigiri. Oakley with a hip toss to Wilson and one to Smith. Goldman and Oakley hit forearms on Smith and Wilson.

Smith distracts Oakley and Wilson with a clip to the back of the knee. Smith tags in and he goes after the knee. Smith with a step over toe hold and then Smith drops back twice and then he goes into a bridge. Wilson gives Smith some extra leverage and then Wilson tags back in and they make a wish. Wilson continues to work on the leg and he drops an elbow and then he wraps up the knee. Smith tags aback in and he kicks Oakley in the leg and follows that with elbows to the knee. Smith keeps Oakley from making the tag. Smith with a wheelbarrow drop toe hold and then he has Oakley in a form of a heel hook and then Smith with an ankle lock. Oakley escapes the hold and Smith punches Goldman before Oakley can make the tag. Smith with kicks to Oakley followed by a knee drop to the head. Oakley kicks himself away from Wilson and Goldman is finally tagged back in.

Goldman with punches to Smith followed by a sunset flip for a near fall. Smith with a power slam and then he tags in Wilson who tries for a springboard move from the apron but Goldman gets a boot up. Goldman with a forearm to Smith and then he hits Eat the Feet on Wilson but Smith breaks it up. Smith pulls Wilson into the corner and Smith makes the tag. Smith sets for a running power slam on Goldman, but Goldman counters with a victory roll for a near fall. Oakley tags in and Goldman tries for a pescado onto Wilson but TJ is nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, back in the ring, Oakley has Smith in a schoolboy but the referee was focused on Goldman’s failed attempt to go to the floor. While the referee still focuses on Goldman, Wilson hits the Hart Attack on Oakley for the three count.
Winners: TJ Wilson and DH Smith
