| The scene opens outside of a Las Vegas strip in the middle of the day. The strip stretches for 2.8 miles and has little empty spaces in it. It’s bright out, warm but a good day to be outside. There are people all over the place, tourists, locals and even employees taking smoke breaks. Cars are lined up down the road honking at each other, trying to move through the traffic. The strip is filled with two casinos and hotels, a shopping mall and a strip club. Every one along the strip is in awe of the beauty of Las Vegas, taking the time to stop and snap a picture whenever they can, wherever there is the least amount of people.
Wade Wilson is walking along the strip, taking in the sights. He’s wearing a formal suit, white shirt with the top button undone, black jacket, black suit pants and some very fashionable black shoes. Wade also has his mask on which seems to frighten the other people. He walks past the Hilton hotel and stares at it for a few seconds, people who walk past him slow down to stare at him, but he doesn’t care. Wade puts his hands in his suit pockets and starts walking down the strip, he doesn’t pay attention to where he’s walking, he doesn’t need to, people aren’t making the effort to get in his way. Instead he diverts his attention to the buildings on his left, he seems to be looking for one in particular. He stops in front of a shop with pink neon lights, for some reason they’re shining bright, buzzing as the seconds elapse. Wade looks up at the sign.
The Kitty Kat Club
Wade grunts then opens the door and enters. When he walks through the door Wade is met with a cool pleasant breeze. He looks around the club; there are stages and catwalks all over the place, most of which have a pole somewhere along them, there’s a long bar where two bartenders are serving drinks to anybody (they’re not even checking IDs), the whole building is packed with men and strippers, there is not a lot of empty seats. Wade takes step forewords but is stopped by a security man.
Security Man Sir I’m going to have to ask you to remove your mask.
Wade Wilson …
Wade complies with the security guard’s wishes and removes his mask. He places the mask in a concealed pocket in the inside of his jacket, he then brushes some of his long dark hair out of his eyes and takes a walk around the club. Every few minutes a stripper stops Wade and offers him a private show, he declines every time. Wade makes his way to the bar and takes a seat; he reaches into his pants and pulls out his wallet. He takes out a few notes and places them on the bar. One of the bartenders hears this and makes his way over to Wade, his nametag says Chris.
Chris What’s your poison sir?
Wade Wilson Vodka on the rocks.
Chris Coming right up sir.
As Chris goes to prepare his drink Wade has another look around the club, he’s clearly looking for someone.
Wade Wilson Say Chris, have you seen anyone in here over the past couple of days…someone famous?
Chris hands Wade his drink and cracks a smile.
Chris You mean Steve Storme Mr. Wilson? Yes I have seen him in here.
Wade Wilson I shouldn’t have wrestled without my mask, everybody recognises me wherever I go. Anyway…Steve was defiantly here. Can you tell me what he did and who he was with?
Chris Well he was with a majority of the strippers in here; I swear the guy could go. He was also with his brother, Danny and some other people…I can’t remember who. All I have is that the Storme brothers were the life of the party. If you want to know more then I think you should step into that booth marked exit.
Wade Wilson If I want to know more then why would I leave?
Chris Cause that isn’t a real exit, it’s just a super special VIP room where Steve had the time of his life I was told. Anyway I’ll send in a couple of strippers who Steve seemed to have around the longest.
Wade smiles at Chris and gets up off his stool. He takes a sip of the vodka then walks away leaving the glass there. He goes to the exit and opens it; inside there is a large red cushiony lounge, mirrors surrounding the round room and a disco ball attached to the ceiling. Wade walks around the room; he looks into the mirror opposite himself and frowns. He reaches into his jacket pocket and pulls out his mask, which he puts back on his face. He looks into the mirror again and you can tell that he’s smiling. Wade does a complete 360° turn around the room then takes a seat on the couch, he gets comfortable spreading out and relaxing. Until some techno music starts blaring over the speakers. Wade jumps in his seat but relaxes after realising he’s in no danger. All of a sudden the mirrors in front of the chair slide to the side and the lights dim to a blue shade, a tall woman dressed in a black dress is seen there. She has blonde hair, blue eyes and little make up. Wade whispers to himself.
Wade Wilson She’s beautiful…
The girl walks up to Wade and takes a seat next to him. She looks at him with a confused expression on her face. Wade can’t stop staring at her.
Girl Uh…you defiantly are that Wrestler Chris told me to talk to. Err you wanted to know what Steve did here?
Wade Wilson Uhh…um…yeah what did Storme do here? I’m interested in knowing.
Girl Well he hung out all over the club, buying drinks for everyone really showing off. People were all over him; they all wanted a piece of him. He and his brother were the life of the party. They were with all the other girls and were really into this…
Wade Wilson Was he with you?
Girl Well yeah, he probably spent most of the time he was here in this room. With other girls, but apparently someone clocked his time here with me as the longest and I got more money than everyone else. I don’ think he was into me the most, I think he just got a bit drunk. He’s a little obnoxious anyway, not my type.
Wade’s smile under his mask grows a little more.
Wade Wilson Do you remember what he was talking about though? Like did he mention any plans for after he left the club?
Girl Yeah he mentioned something about going to this guy’s house so that he could keep the party going all weekend. He and Danny left earlier than everyone else. Everyone seemed disappointed by it, especially Danny.
Wade Wilson Hmmm…okay…still doesn’t answer my questions. I think I’d better be going; you probably have some customers waiting.
Girl No…I’m supposed to be going home anyway.
Wade Wilson So you’re just hanging around here talking to a stranger, when you could be going home?
Girl Yeah…
Wade Wilson Why?
Girl You look, interesting.
The girl gets up to leave, Wade does the same, before the girl can exit through the mirrors Wade has one more thing to say.
Wade Wilson What’s your name?
Girl Sarah.

| The scene opens in front of Wade’s house. It’s still bright out, brighter than before; it looks to be around midday. Wade’s car, a black 1967 Chevrolet Impala is parked in the driveway, the glare of the sun reflects off of it perfectly. Wade is sitting on his front porch wearing the same clothes as before, he is holding his mask in his hands and twirling it around and fiddling with it. He seems to be mumbling to himself. After a few seconds he looks up to the camera and starts talking.
Wade Wilson Steve Storme…you came to my house last night. My neighbours were terrified. They thought you were here to cause some trouble and destroy a few things. Fortunately that was not the case. You just had a little message for me. One to dampen my motivation going into this match against you. Well Steve I just have to say that you’ve failed. I don’t feel any less determined to take you down than I did the other day, if anything now I feel that my chances are higher in defeating you. I mean I got your attention with a little fire didn’t I? Is that really all it takes for a ‘midcarder’ like me to get someone to come over to their house? And yes you came here hoping to maybe have our match rescheduled to that you could spend the rest of the weekend partying with your brother. Well I guess we know just where Steve Storme’s priorities lie, partying, sex, drugs and alcohol…then the great sport known as wrestling. See Steve you may deny what I have to say all you want, but your actions speak louder than words. You made the effort to come to my house and ask me to move the match so it suited your needs. Well Steve that isn’t right. That’s damn right selfish and you should be ashamed of yourself. The fans were promised a bloodbath and I promised them that your blood would be shed. But the moment you came here with your intentions, well you opened the gate to your own personal wrestling hell. I intend to give you that hell and I intend to have some fun whilst doing it to. You can take your cheap shots and you can crack your lame ass jokes, you may even write your own damn blogs all day long. The fact is that your heart isn’t in this anymore, and without your heart pumping blood to your brain then I do have some doubts about how far you’re willing to go in this one. Hmmm, I can’t really say much more in fear of just repeating myself. I would set something on fire again but I don’t want to damage my own property. Hehe…cya tonight Steve.
Good Luck!
The scene comes to a close with Wade getting to his feet and putting his mask back on his face. He reaches into his right jacket pocket and walks over to his car.
