Jeff Hardy Returns to Court Tomorrow - Charges and Details Inside

- According to PWInsider.com Jeff Hardy returns to court tomorrow for his probable cause hearing. If it is determined that he committed the crimes he is charged with, the case will then go to the grand jury. If it goes that far, the grand jury would then decide whether or not to criminally indict Hardy. If he is indicted, the case would then go to superior court, unless there is a plea bargain made at some point. The case was continued from last month, which was partially due to results of a drug test not returning. Jeff Hardy is facing the following charges:

*Felony possession of cocaine.
*Felony drug trafficking of opium
*Felony possession with intent to redistribute a Schedule III drug (two counts).
*Maintaining a dwelling for drug use and/or distribution.
*Possession of drug paraphernalia. (misdemeanor)

So, basically, it could take what? Up to a year before he could get sentenced?

Former WWE superstar Jeff Hardy was set to appear in court this morning for a probable cause hearing to determine whether there is enough evidence stemming from his September 11th drug arrest to see if the case would proceed to a grand jury. The grand jury would then decide whether to prosecute Hardy for the various felonies she's been charged with.

The hearing has been rescheduled once again and the next court appearance for Hardy will be on January 27, 2010.

The original probable cause hearing on November 4th was rescheduled to today because certain drug test results
had not been completed in time. No word yet on why today's hearing did not take place.

Geez, Jeffrey would have the time to fail a couple of other WWE drug tests before he'd get prosecuted if he were still with the company.
