2009-10 NFL Discussion Thread

I figured instead of new threads every 5 minutes for the NFL we'd just discuss here.

The Titans have won 5 in a row, even beating the NFC Champions last week. The Colts have won 11 in a row after Houston handed them the game last week.

Can the Colts prevail? Or will they fall down to the Titans and have the series go 1-1 for the 4th straight year?

If Johnson goes for 150 or 200 again, the Colts will be in trouble. Manning can win a shoot out and he can win a close game, but Johnson going off means Payton is standing and watching.

I will pick the Colts because I am a Colts fan, but I have been saying all season that they will not go undefeated and this could be the week they lose. They are about 3 wins away from locking down homefield through out and the faster they do that, the better.

The Celtics Rajon Rondo claims the he could beat the Titans Chris Johnson in a 40 yard dash. Johnson says that it would not even be a close race and he would smoke Rondo. Johnson runs a 4.24 40 and that is straight up fast. The fastest time Rondo has been clocked at is 4.45. Based on this alone, Johnson would blow Rondo away.

Pure speed and burst are far more important in the NFL. Does anyone think Rondo would win?

There are few people in the world faster then Johnson. He is fast with pads on, he would be uncatchable without pads. Bolt may be able to beat Johnson is a 40, but Rondo would have no chance.
