Melina injuried

Sources within WWE fear that Melina suffered a torn ACL, according to PWInsider.com. She was examined backstage and is seeing a specialist this week to diagnose the extent of the situation.

An update on the injury is expected soon.

I hope it's nothing serious. Melina is one of the best diva wrestlers in WWE (I'd only put like three or four above he [in ablity]). Also, I heard Bret was high on her work and it'd be a shame if they didn't meet. Plus, I don't want to see the title be vacated.

This sucks, Melina is one hell of a wrestler, not to mention it hasn't been long since she returned from her last injury.

Give the damn title to Gail Kim...

It basically just makes the decision easier for Vince McMahon and the creative team on which brand Women's title to focus on. The Mickie James/Michelle McCool/Beth Phoenix will probably be the focal point until Wrestlemania.

My guess is that they'll probably build Kelly Kelly to take over as the top Diva babyface on RAW during Melina's absence to feud with Maryse over the Divas' Championship. I'd also wish that Gail Kim would get her run as champion but she's barely been on TV ever since she returned so I'm not holding my breath.

Aww, Sykesy. Come on. It's never right to WISH harm to one of the wrestlers. It's not her fault that WWE doesn't use her correctly, despite her being one of the few talented divas they have.

I hope it's not too serious. Considering that WWE won't ever just scrap the entire division, Melina is probably the best choice for a champion on Raw. Gail Kim is good too, but she's a longshot because she hasn't really been around the title or in too many title matches to be considered. Maryse was going to win the title from her soon anyways...so at least if this injury is serious, it won't leave WWE "Creative" having to pull something out of their asses.

Yeah, I never wish injury on anyone. I hate Kahli, but I never wish serious injury. I would like to see Gail Kim get a title run, but I don't think that will happen. I will not be unhappy with Maryse as Diva's Champion.

Ditto for me. I'm never against a fellow Quebecer being a champion, whatever the promotion he works for!
