Long live Leon Caprice...hahaha Empty
PostSubject: Long live Leon Caprice...hahaha   Long live Leon Caprice...hahaha Icon_minitimeSun Jan 03, 2010 11:46 am

The blinding white flash faded out and Leon Caprice stood, alone for the first time since he stepped on the small island monastery. He stood in awe, wide eyed, gawking at the images he has just seen. Still trying to fathom the things he had just heard.

How could Leon not be wanted?

Leon Caprice was the chosen one! Yet Caprice was also the outcast, the black sheep. Shun him! Not Leon… Leon’s worked too hard for too long following the word of someone he could never see or hear to do the right thing, the work of God.

They can’t just shun him like this…

Not Leon…not when he is so close…

Voice: Brother James?

Caprice turned. His robes swirled around him as he faced the portly monk. His skin wrinkled and fading, much like his hairline. Caprice could only bother to look at his eyes though. Brown…

Monk: Are you alright?

Caprice doesn’t speak… he just continues to stare forward at the monk.

Monk: Yes, it truly is a different experience working with our beloved Kyler, isn’t it?

Caprice’s eyes were lifeless…

Monk: Yes, it truly can leave one speechless…

Very slowly, very deliberately, Caprice raised his arm from his robes…

And pulled out the black pistol from under it.

Without warning or provocation Caprice aimed and pulled the trigger, shooting the monk directly through his eye socket. As the shot rang out through the island, birds flew out, calling out to the heavens that something wasn’t right.

He walked back to the large wooden doors, struggling to push them open. He is immediately greeted by a large group of monks rushing towards his location, yelling and screaming, trying to desperately save their sanctity… their lives.

Unfortunately for them, it was all for naught.

Caprice coldly looked them over and pulled his pistol out once again.

Click…
Bang.

Click…

Bang.

Click...

One by one the monks began to fall. Their blood splattering, staining the walls, the pillars. Pooling on the floor. Caprice never broke stride as he continued to walk forward, his arm projected from his robes, the smoke rising from his chamber.

He didn’t even look at the gun when he reloaded, but just continued to stare at his massacre. Dozens of innocent men of faith falling in a merciless concoction of blood, tears, and lead.

Their robes soaked in the blood.

Their skin and hair became stained crimson.

The blood splashed ever so lightly as Caprice stepped through it, his robes dragging the liquid like some vicious paint brush, further spreading the product of his hate across the floor.

Click…
Bang.

Click…

Bang.

Click...

Caprice finally approached the front doors of the monastery. He gazed out at the beach and the lush, beautiful scenery. He ignored the corpses behind him, trying to block out their screams from his mind… because he was justified…he was-

Voice: Look what you have done…

Caprice turned sharply, pistol drawn, to face his victim… and standing in front of him once again was Kyler. He glowed as his wings spread, kneeling next to the lifeless carcasses of the slain monks, his people. Caprice never put his gun down and only stared coldly at Kyler as he stood.

Kyler: Look what you have done!

Caprice stared at him lifelessly. He had no compassion in his heart for the wicked anymore.

Leon: I regret not of what I did, heathen.

Kyler: Heathen? Heathen!? You stand there holding the lives of innocents in your hand and yet I am the one who is the heathen?

Leon: You turned your back on the one who believed in you… the one who could save us.

Kyler: No, Leon. You mean the one who could save yourself…

Caprice began his march forward. His eyes now showing emotion… hate.

Leon: How dare you! You have no idea what its like, Kyler. You have no fucking clue, do you? No, you don’t.

His feet clicked on the cold ground, blood shooting up every time he stepped in the puddles.

Leon: I have read these prophecies! I know that it’s not the cruel Leon, its ME. I am the one who is the outcast! I am the one who is destined to hate and to be hated! I AM THE RIGHT HAND OF THE DARK LORD HIMSELF!

Caprice stops halfway to Kyler, his arm shaking but his eyes are steady.

Kyler: You think this is the truth?

I know it’s the truth…

Kyler begins walking forward towards Caprice.

Kyler: So, what are you going to do now, Leon? Kill me too?

Leon: If it comes to it…

Kyler: So, you… the hand of the devil? All powerful? Mighty?!

Kyler chuckles to himself.

Kyler: You think you possess the ability to change fate?

Kyler walks forward to Caprice and slowly, Kyler kneels in front of him, staring him directly in the eyes.

Kyler: Do you believe you can kill that which has helped shape you?

Kyler puts the barrel of Caprice’s pistol directly on his forehead.

Kyler: DO YOU!?
BANG

There was no second guessing. No questioning what he was going to do…

A second passed that seemed like eternity. Silence, pure and gold… until-

Kyler: You know not of what you have done…

Caprice held the pistol still as he watched Kyler fall back, smiling. He put the pistol back under his robes and left the monastery. The scene fades to black.

I want a love like Johnny and June
Rings of fire burning with you
I want to walk the line,
Walk the line,
'Till the end of time
I want to love,
Love ya that much
Cash it all in,
Give it all up,
And when you're gone,
I wanna go, too
Like Johnny and June
Like Johnny and June

Fade in from black. Headlights softly lit the curve as Caprice turned around the bend, his jet black dodge viper cruising like a shadow on the asphalt, the visions and screams of the victims at the monastery still flashing through his head.

His heart raced as the speedometer climbed, his knuckles grew white as his grip on the wheel tightened, his heart and mind racing with every rotation of the tires because he wasn’t just driving aimlessly without direction, he knew where this road leads, but he didn’t know why he was going… but he was here.

His car slowed to a halt outside the building, the bulb on the porch the only source of light. With a click he opened the door and stepped out, closing it as quietly as possible. Caprice walked to the hood of his car and propped himself up, staring longingly at the window, wondering what it was like to be behind its darkness… together… with her.

Leon: You’re a moron…

He spoke softly to himself.

Leon: You had your chances… you blew it…

Caprice took in a deep breath and hung his head.

Leon: I can’t believe I’m actually here. What are you doing!

Caprice slammed his fist on the hood of the viper. He looked up once again at the window, longing to be behind it.

He knew what he wanted to do…

He wanted to walk up the driveway, ring the doorbell, and wait for her to come down and when she opened the door he’d grab her and just hold her, keeping her safe in his arms.

Leon: She’d never want you… you’re a monster…

No. He knew he wanted to tell her how he felt. How she was the force behind him, how she was always on his mind. How when he was apart from her, his heart cried out for her. How he misses her like the Sun misses the Moon. He wanted her to know that he wanted her for her, that when she was with him, he could feel the world was right…

Leon: Heh… the world…

Silently, Caprice began to cry. Tears slowly streaking down his cheeks.

Leon: The world has turned its back against you, Leon… it doesn’t owe you shit. Sarah doesn’t want you and neither does anyone else… you’re on your own.

Caprice thought he knew the truth. He thought he understood that the world was against him. That the Lord has forsaken him to live a life of hurt and solitude…

It was almost ironic that something so disgusting as this world could produce the one thing that Caprice found beauty in, where he could find peace… Sarah.

It was not ironic, however, that the fates decided to keep it from him. To taunt him…

Caprice wiped his face. His eyes were bloodshot. He had begun to realize what he really knew all along.

It was his massive hate for this disgusting world that drove him. His never-ending quest to destroy that which has hurt him… but, at the same time, it was his deep, passionate love for her… for Sarah, that moves him. His desire to make her see that he doesn’t want to be the man that she wants…

He wants to be the man that she needs.

Slowly he stood. He wanted to muster up the courage to go to her door. To do what he wanted…

But he couldn’t… and he didn’t know why.

Slowly, Caprice opened the door and got back in the viper. He turned the ignition and slowly drove off.

His hate and his love…
It was the two halves of Caprice that made him who he was, much like it takes two halves of a team to be champions…

His two passions that made him the man he was today.

No, not a man…

The monster…

The monster he was today.
The monster he will be tomorrow.

The monster he can never stop being.

Caprice’s viper turned the corner. His tires squealed as he sped off into the darkness.

The scene fades to black
