| I have already looked at who wins the Chamber qualifiers, but I am still looking forward to seeing the matches. SD is good ever week. Last week was fantastic, and I expect the same this week. I wonder if Shawn will show up during the Cutting Edge segment? | |

| - Quote :
- *Chris Jericho opened the show with a promo about
being the "real" number-one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship
*John Morrison defeated Kane and Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre in an Elimination Chamber
Qualifying Match *R-Truth defeated Mike Knox in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match
*A backstage promo was shown with The Straight Edge Society
CM Punk defeated Batista by countout in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match
*Chris Jericho defeated Matt Hardy in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match *New WWE Women's Champion Mickie James was in the ring cutting a promo before she was interrupted by Beth Phoenix. She talked about her appearance in the Royal Rumble Match, then teased about feuding with Mickie for the Women's Championship
*Beth Phoenix and WWE Women's Champion Mickie James defeated Michelle McCool and Layla. During the match, Beth knocked out both McCool and Layla and left Mickie on her own
*Rey Mysterio defeated Dolph Ziggler in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match
*The SmackDown main event for the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event is announced as The Undertaker defending the World Heavyweight Championship against John Morrison, R-Truth, CM Punk, Chris Jericho, and Rey Mysterio in an Elimination Chamber Match
*Edge then made his SmackDown return to host an edition of The Cutting Edge. He said that he could beat either WWE Champion Sheamus or World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker at WrestleMania 26. Chris Jericho then came out and said that Edge didn't deserve to win the Royal Rumble Match, and Edge responds by saying that he's tired of Jericho doing nothing but talking all the time. CM Punk then comes out and said he's made The Undertaker tap before (which we all know is nothing but a crock). The lights then went out and The Undertaker himself then appeared in the ring and helped Edge take out both Jericho and Punk. Edge and Undertaker then had a staredown to end the show
Yet again, SD was the best wrestling program of the week. All of the Chmber matches were very good, except for Batista vs. Punk, but I am sure we will find out why Batista decided to get counted out. I loved the Cutting Edge segment and the end of SD. We all know Edge will probably not be challenging Taker at Mania, but they have to give it some suspense.

| |
