Former WCW World and WWF tag team champion Ron Simmons has announced that he will wrestle his last match on Saturday night for Historic Purks International Championship Wrestling. He will do a Q&A session after the show with the first 100 fans who want in, and he has promised that he will answer any and all questions. Ron is set to be inducted to the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame on February 20.

| He was semi-retired. It's a shame he's working for some small indy company. I think he should try to get a deal with ROH for his last match or something but it's nice that he's being inducted into the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame. | |

| Not the greatest of careers, but a successful one in the end. Wish he went out of the WWE better than how they used him...DAMN! | |

First black world heavyweight champion DAMN! was damn funny. I think WWE owes him something special.

| The first Black World Champion is a pretty big deal and when he first came to WWE, he was managed by Sunny, that counts as something special.
I think WWE should give him a tribute video package at least.

| If he was still with WWE in some way, he would, but since he is not with WWE anymore, probably not. | |

Yeah, He deserves a tribute package xD, He will not get one though. After what he allegedly accused the McMahons of doing, there's NO WAY he's getting any video tribute package whatsoever.
