| Hey guys, The New Orleans Saints pull out dramatic Super Bowl win as Drew Brees has a game for the ages, while Peyton Manning makes a crucial blunder. Here's the story: Go nuts, New Orleans: The Saints are your world championsBy MJD The New Orleans Saints, longtime residents of the bottom of the NFL barrel, now stand at the pinnacle of American sports. A thrilling Super Bowl XLIV ended with the Saints on top, 31-17. The New Orleans Saints are world champions. That feels so weird -- and so great -- to say. Two big plays did it for the Saints. First, obviously, was the brain-rattling Tracy Porter(notes) interception of Peyton Manning(notes) that went for a touchdown, and for all intents and purposes, put the game away. It was a shockingly bad throw from Manning and an electrifying return from Porter. That'll go down in the books as one of the great plays in Super Bowl history. Maybe the real key, though, was the onside kick with which the Saints used to open the second half. The call from head coach Sean Payton took the guts of a thief, and it paid off immeasurably. The Saints never really relinquished momentum after Jonathan Casillas(notes) came out of that pile with the football. Fans just got their third straight classic Super Bowl. Two years ago, the Giants shocked the world by edging the Patriots. Last year, the Steelers and Cardinals went back and forth in a nail-biter, and this year, the Saints and Colts fought tooth and nail for 60 minutes. The final score might not show a thriller, but this thing was hotly contested until very late in the game. The fact that it was the Saints who won adds to the feeling that we just saw greatness. Between the years of miserable football and what they and their fans have gone through with Hurricane Katrina, it feels great to see them on top. I'm nowhere near a Saints fan, and I can't help but smile right now. credit: sports.yahoo.comand also, -- Former WWE & WCW World Heavyweight Champions Hulk Hogan & Bret Hart were asked to give his Super Bowl predictions as part of Scripps Howard's annual celebrity list. In Hogan's trademark wording, he said the following: "New Orleans, 35-6. New Orleans has an amazing new energy this year, both as a team and a city. They survived Hurricane Katrina, and if they could survive that, they can survive anything." Likewise, Bret Hart made the following prediction on his Facebook account: "Anyhow, as for the Super Bowl on Sunday between the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints, I've decided after great deliberation to pull for the Saints but I think Manning will pull it out of the fire. Most importantly, I hope it's close anyway."credit: wrestlingattitude.comNew Orleans Saints; The 2010 Super Bowl Champions

| The pick was when the Saints put the game away, but the onside kick coming out of halftime was a ballsy move and the Saints took the momentum right then and there. | |

| Teehee. I feel all tingly inside after calling for the Saints to bring down the Colts like a month or 2 in advance. Watched 5 minutes of the game and it was when they put it away | |

I can never beat against the Colts because that is my team and I am truly upset that they did not win. Last night, the Saints did what it takes to win and the Saints had to balls to go for it. That on-side kick coming out of half-time, was brillian and gutsy. That is when the Saints took the momentum and the pick for a TD was what shut the door. | |
