| Which wrestler do you think shot to fame and got shot back down the most?
To me it is definitely Chris Benoit.
Chris Benoit (Ignoring his WCW run) he was a Mid-Carder in WWE. He had a few feuds with Angle, Guerrero and that is about it. Then in 04 he got pushed bigtime and ended up winning The World Heavyweight Championship against HHH and HBK at Wrestlemania XX. Then comes along Summerslam. Benoit loses the title to Randy Orton and then is thrown straight back into the Mid-Card. WWE chose to focus Raw on Batista, Orton and HHH for the next year then as Benoit was just hanging in the mid card.
Another that comes to mind would have to be Diamond Dallas Page.
In WCW, DDP was the guy. Everyone loved DDP, He was like WWF's Rock in 2000. He had a great following and was a great main eventer. Then WCW was bought out and DDP went over to WWF. He was looked at as a low Mid-Carder. He was fighting guys like Scotty 2 Hotty and Christian (Who at the time was nothing special). WWE treated him as a complete joke and a nobody.

| Scott Stiener. He was a huge star in WCW and when it came to his WWE run, no one cared, his push died, his career died. | |

| Arquette went out on top. Cause he was a badass like that.
In all seriousness though, kind of surprised that Khali hasn't gotten a mention in this thread yet. Know he is no Chris Benoit or anything but he did go from pinning Undertaker with a foot and being the world champion to making out with fat chicks. Kind of a fall from grace.

Know he is no Chris Benoit or anything but he did go from pinning Undertaker with a foot and being the world champion to making out with fat chicks. Kind of a fall from grace. I think we all try to forgot Khali was World Champion. I wasn't sure who I was going to say but Khali is definitely the best answer. I wouldn't say Benoit, sure his reign was better but he didn't fall nearly down. He stayed in the mid-card and was had a two hundred plus United States Championship reign after losing. Of course, that wasn't his only United States Championship reign. Plus, if it wasn't for the tragedy, he would've won the WWECW Championship. So, Benoit didn't fall down on the chain that much. Kozlov wasn't even WWE Champion, and he did fine on WWECW for awhile. Khali went from World Champion to hosting a kiss cam. He has pretty much fell down the chain more than anyone I can think of.
