Mike Tenay and Taz chime in during a pre-show commercial break to say that the main event might just air first at the top of the hour.
Tenay and Taz opened the show amidst pyro and a wild crowd, as Hulk Hogan and Abyss made their way to the ring. Hogan was adorned in the red and yellow with boa. Hulk took the mic and talked about taking care of business, and called out Flair and AJ. They obliged. AJ and Flair entered, wearing the classic robes. Abyss and AJ started things, as AJ utilized speed, while Abyss countered with power. Chops and kicks landed by AJ, but Abyss countered with a high slam. Flair tagged in and after some Flair chops, Abyss retaliated and backdropped him. Things broke down and all four brawled, as the lights went out and Sting appeared in the ring, bat in hand. Sting cornered Flair and AJ, but turned on Hulk and Abyss, as he beat them with the bat. Sting, Flair and AJ beat on Hulk and Abyss with a chair, and just general physicality. Hulk wore the crimson mask, as he covered Abyss from further assault. Sting left, and AJ and Flair walked up the ramp. Hulk said they would still have their match, only now it will be a no disqualification match.
Commercial break
Recap of the previous carnage, then a backstage segment as Dixie confronted Sting on his way out. He told her: "I owe you nothing, Dixie!"
J.B. talked with Flair and AJ, and Flair talked about how he always knew what Sting was about, and the tandem had no problems with the "do over"
cut to: backstage - Abyss in a rage over Sting turning on them.
commercial break
Backstage: Brooke Hogan was expressing concern backstage with Hulk's girlfriend over Hulk's condition and his decision to mix it up again.
Kazarian was in mid ring, talking about the future of the X-Division. He got cut off by Daniels, who said he will carry the division. Doug Williams cut them off and all three argued over the matter until Eric Bischoff interrupted. He told them that the three would have an X Division match...right now.
They went at it full force, as you would expect. No clear advantage, although Kazarian had some high spots. Doug Williams slowed things up a bit, and went to some power moves. Daniels took control over both men. Top rope double dropkick to Daniels and Willaims by Kazarian. After more back and forth action by all three, Williams landed chaos theory and retained his title. Suddenly, Shannon Moore hit the ring and knocked Williams around. Bischoff came back out and said he liked what he saw and declared that at Destination X, Williams would defend against Moore.
Backstage: Dixie Carter said Sting will have a match tonight.
Beautiful People posed backstage.
Commercial
Taylor Wylde and Sarita entered first, followed by the Beautiful People. Next up Angelina Love and Tara. A mishmash of everyone in and out of the ring. Beautiful People won the Knockouts tag titles after Daffney interfered.
Backstage, The Pope spoke about Desmond Wolfe, who attacked him and beat his injured leg with his chain.

JB backstage with the Beautiful People, who celebrated with champagne.
Recap of Sting grabbing Dixie Carter by her throat.
Sting made his way to the ring, still unaware of his opponent.
RVD entered the iMPACT! Zone and nailed Sting and after ROLLING THUNDER pinned Sting in seconds. Sting beat RVD with the bat, leaving RVD laying in the ring. RVD stood up, and Sting re-entered and continued his assault. He walked the ramp and attacked the involved refs. He went back to the ring once again, and this time, after hitting RVD, Hulk came out, bloody, with Bubba trying to stop him. In ring, Sting hit RVD repeatedly, as Hulk tried to enter the ring, but security held him back. As security held Hulk on the apron, Sting delivered a bat shot to him. Then Sting followed Hulk and security up the ramp, and hit some security guys and Hulk again.
Tenay and Taz questioned Sting's actions.
Nash and Eric Young then came out. (A shot of Eric Bischoff sitting in a chair for some reason) Nash said he and Young have a contract for a match with Hall and Waltman and Destination X, per Hulk Hogan. Nash called them out to accept.
Commercial
Backstage: Waltman and Hall entered the building through the back. Nash and Young held center ring and awaited Waltman and Hall. Hall took the stick, calling Nask "Big Sellout" and said the only way they'd sign for the match is if they would be signed with TNA. Bischoff interjected, and said that if Hall and Waltman win the match at the ppv, they'd get their contracts. After some shit talking, Waltman slapped Young in the face. They had it out. Bischoff through Hall and Nash out, and told Young that he has "license to kill" and the match was on.
Young took it to Waltman and after an explosive beating, EY won with the piledriver.
An Army Humvee pulled up outside.
Inside the iMPACT! zone, the Army walked the ramp and made a human tunner for Kurt Angle, who addressed Mr. Anderson via mic. He talked about Anderson's recent disrespect. Anderson came out and ran his mouth, and Kurt beat him up all over the iMPACT zone, and even the soldiers got some licks in on him. They threw him back into the ring, where Kurt hit the Olympic slam, and waved the flag before a rabid crowd.

backstage promo: Hulk talking with Bubba the Lovesponge, with Bubba trying to talk him out of the match tonight. Earl Hebner walked in and asked for a "second chance" - Hulk said things are out of control tonight, and he said no. Bubba said that of everybody in wrestling, Earl deserved a second chance. Hulk said he could ref the main event tag. It was announced that Abyss would face AJ for the world title at Destination X.
James Storm and Jeff Jarrett had words and Storm acknowledged Jeff's comments about Jeff giving him his first shot in TNA, and how he trained with Jerry Jarrett. Storm said it's all about what you've done for me lately, and you "ain't done nothin...sorry about your damn luck" Jeff punched him and Robert Roode hit Jeff, and Mick Foley yelled "take it to the ring"
commercial
Beer Money dished out a double team assault on Jeff, as Mick Foley handled the officiating. Handicapable match.
Jeff tried to hold his own to the best of his abilities, but Beer Money proved to be too much for him at every turn. Outside, Mick handed Jarrett a barbed wire bat from under the ring. Ref Slick Johnson grabbed the bat, and Beer Money took advantage of the distraction, and got the pin, as counted by Johnson.
Backstage, Hulk talked with Abyss, who encouraged Hulk to let him handle the match himself. Brooke entered and Abyss left. Brooke cried for her dad to atleast promise that this would be his very last match. He agreed.
backstage, Ric Flair and AJ psyched themselves up.
commercial
Ric and AJ made their way to the ring, followed by Hulk and Abyss.
Final commercial break
Hulk and Ric started the match, and took immediate control. They took it to the outside, and bloodied Flair after smashing his head into the rail. Hulk punched and stomped him. Flair was rather bloody. Back in the ring, the beating continued. AJ assisted, and Ric got the upper hand. AJ tagged in and beat a now re-bloodied Hulk. AJ and Ric continued a double team assault, until a top rope slam on Flair led to a hot tag to Abyss, who cleaned house. Flair and Hogan fought outside while Abyss and AJ mixed it up inside. All four in the ring as Hogan whipped AJ into Abyss who hit the Black hole slam for the pin. Desmond Wolfe suddenly blasted the winners with a chair. The Pope countered the beating, as did Jeff Hardy. I only watched about 4 mins of the show, so I can't say how good it was or was not, but the 4 mins I caught were the same old shit. At about 10, RAw went to a commercial, so I switched to see what was going on and I saw Nash and EY in the ring blathering on about giving Hall and Waltman a one time contract, so I turned the channel. The next time I turned to Impact was the very end of the main event. I am surpiresed by the Sting turn, I did not even consider that.

| The EY/Nash thing is good in my opinion and was not the same old shit because it is summing up the feud for Destination X. The heel turn by Sting before watching the show was not considered but when I saw him standing between Hogan and Abyss as if he was the good guy I was like ... NOOOOO!
RVD debut was really poor. What face attacks a heel from behind?
Moore and Hardy looked intriguing though. Cannot wait for next week.
