John Cena Comments on Carlito Being Fired

John Cena commented on WWE releasing Carlito on Friday. "I am sad to hear the WWE has decided to release Carlito," Cena wrote. "I always thought he could, and should have accomplished more than he did. I wish him the best." To read more from Cena, check out WWE.com.

Cena and Carlito had a quality feud together early in Cena's babyface run on Smackdown. For those who missed it yesterday, Carlito as cut because he failed a Wellness Policy test and rejected the company's request that he go to rehab.

It has been reported that Carlito was to fucked up to work Raw and that is why he was fired.

Yeah, he arrived to RAW Monday night wasted and was asked to go to rehab, which Carlito refused. That's when they fired him.

Sucks though because I was lookin' forward to a reformation of The Colons' tag team with his brother Primo. Perhaps they'll wait for his cousin Orlando to team him up with Primo when he'll get the call up.

^^So was I, but maybe getting canned will be a wake up call and he will find his way back to WWE one day.

I kinda doubt it. I think that he believed that he should've been handed a push because of his family heritage and his father's status in the business.
