Brand New WWE DVD Set Being Produced

A brand new WWE DVD set is in the works and will be titled The Best of the High Flyers. The DVD set is scheduled to be released on October 12th, but as of right now, nothing else has been announced about it.

That sounds like a cool DVD set. I'm expecting lots of Cruiserweight action from WCW and perhaps early stuff from Chris Jericho and Eddie Guerrero.

I'll take a look at it for sure.

I wonder how they will avoid Jeff Hardy?

That's actually a good question. Will they omit the Hardyz on the DVD just for the sake of avoiding the fact that Jeff Hardy works with TNA?

I don't know if they "have to", but I think, they think they have to. Although there are 2 Jeff Hardy matches on the Best of 09-10 DVD. Hardy vs. Edge at JD 09 and Hardy vs. Punk, at SS 09. I think they would distances themselves from Jeff becuase of his legal problem, even more then because he is with TNA now.

Yeah, but that depends on how advanced WWE were on the production of this DVD. Jeff Hardy returned to TNA only in January if my memory serves me well and I'd assume that WWE started the production of the Best Of DVD before they thought Jeff Hardy would sign with TNA. Now, it's a totally different scenario. Jeff's been with TNA for 6 months now. They can easily choose to boycott any Jeff Hardy match for this DVD set if they decide so.

That would suck for the DVD and for Matt. Matt would lose out on a pay check, if his match aren't on the DVD.
