- WWE's upcoming Old School RAW comes off the heels of the company releasing a new line of retro merchandise. It's said that officials feel they need to embrace more of their past to help bring back some of the fans from those eras.

- WWE has canceled a SmackDown live event on Monday, January 17th in Texarkana, Arkansas because they need the SmackDown roster for Monday Night RAW that night from Little Rock.

- Jim Ross will be heading to Florida later this week to evaluate WWE developmental talents at Florida Championship Wrestling.
