| Another fallout from the Benoit situation is that McMahon has banned any form of choke or strangulation move. If talent wants to use a choke move during one of their matches, they need to go to Vince or the road agents and ask for permission. The reason for the ban is that Vince feared new footage of choke spots would be used against the company in the media. | |

| I think banning all choke moves is taking it a little too far. I mean, when I see them doing moves like that on the program, it's not like I am thinking about Benoit and the horrible things he did. I'm watching the damn match.  | |
