ECW rating

The ratings for this week's ECW show on Sci-Fi are in and they are not good. The 58th week of ECW TV averaged a 1.31 rating with an average audience of 1.6 million viewers. This was the 2nd smallest audience ever for ECW.

The average rating for ECW on Sci-Fi since the show launched last year is a 1.73. The show's ratings have dropped considerably - and across the board, losing big numbers in all of the key demographics (Men 18-49 and Men 18-34).

These ratings have to be disappointing for WWE. At a time when ECW ratings are falling, TNA iMPACT! has been doing some its best numbers ever and is on the verge of getting expanded to 2 hours. If TNA iMPACT! were to ever surpass ECW in viewership, you can be sure that MAJOR changes would be in store for WWE's "C" brand.

Can't say I'm surprised. ECW is supposed to be Extreme Championship Wrestling right? They have championships and wrestling, but I haven't seen much to consider Extreme.

They need more superstars on the roster bring back the EXTREME.And maybe have a tag team division.

I agree. ECW needs more extreme to it. It's kind of been getting boring and for me to say that... is really a shocker. I want to see chairs, tables, signs, and other stuff thrown around Damn it!! LOL. J/K. But I would like to see more extreme.

ECW was pretty good the first couple of weeks it was on.But now it's getting boring.Punk need's to move to either raw or SD.

Yeah cus then he could win the US or IC title.Then win the world title.

I guess that that is ok, same as TNA really. Anyway, more Superstars, 2 hours, more titles, ECW would be way better.

Those are good suggestions, but that doesn't put the extreme back in ECW. Vince needs to lay of the restrictions a little and let them have some extreme matches.
