PostSubject: Triple H "Backstage" Power & Young Talent!   Triple H "Backstage" Power & Young Talent! Icon_minitimeTue Feb 19, 2008 1:10 pm

Well,Its no new that Triple H has a lot of power backstage, and the reason is obvious.I like Triple H has a wrestler,I think that he is a great preformer, and a great wrestler, and great on the mic,but I hate Triple H the man!It seems that since he get married to Steph,he is using in power for is own favor! He put himself over, and run like mad man backstage deserving title shots,or deserving oppennents!I think that Triple H is one of the biggest draws WWE has,and I think that he is a future Hall of Famer, but he is just caring for his own ass in the WWE!Back in the Attitude Era,Triple H has awsome power backstage, and he used it well for his favor!

Right now, people thought that Triple H isn't using his power backstage that much, but its wrong! You see,Triple H literlly put himself on a Wrestlemania Main Event! He used his backstage power to go and win the Elimination Chamber and face the WWE Champ at Wrestlemania!I'm pretty sure that all of you know that I don't like Jeff Hardy, but I would rather see him in Wrestlemania Main even then The Game!I don't think that Jeff can carry A Wrestlemania Main event, but seeing Triple H pushing himself for another Wrestlemania Main Event is making me sick!I thought the Jeff's and Hbk preformence in the chamber was good, and I would rather have one of them win the Chamber!I would rather see HBK Vs Cena/Orton,then Triple H Vs Cena/Orton!

I think that Triple H should just put his HUGE Ego aside, and let yound talents get over, and not putting himself in a title picture once again!I would love to see Kennedy or MVP or Matt Hard or even Jeff Hardy(in a little while) get a push for the main event!I think that what Triple H is doing is showing what the WWE is all about at the moment:Old wrestlers in the main Event!

Don't get me wrong I respect the hell of of HBK,Undertaker,Triple H but WWE is get to move on!I think that WWE should push young guys like Matt or Kennedy like I said before!I mean,I can't see WWE right now without Ric Flair,Triple H and The Undertaker!I know that Randy Orton and John Cena are great draws in Raw,but WWE isn't pushing any other young talent to the main event!

Jeff get a push for a while, but guess what happen,Triple H get his chance, and now Jeff is back at the MITB match!I think that Carlito can be a great contributor to the WWE right now,and even more in the future! But WWE is treating him like s**t!He get storyline with Hornswoogle for god sake!I think that WWE should push him to the mid-card back again, because right now it seems like he is nothing more then a jobber!Carlito has great wrestling skills, and great mic skills and he can cut promos very well!I think that its time for him to win some gold, maybe taking the IC title off Jeff,so Jeff could get a little more of a push!

Then,Carlito could defend the IC title for a while and then maybe win it a couple of times more to build him up,and then give him a push for the main event!I don't know why WWE isn't doing anything with Carlito, they just put him in tag team matchs or just let him job!Carlito is a great preformer and deserve to have a fair chance in the WWE!

Well what do you think?

I don't think it's that bad. HHH was out of the title picture since October.

Maybe he was,but he is pushing himself before young talent, and he is not letting young talent get over,he let Jeff win at the rumble, just so he could win the Elimination Chamber and go to the main event at Wrestlemania!I mean,Triple H wanted to main event Wrestlemania, because he thought about himself! He thought that the Royal Rumble isn't such a big stage for him so he decided to go and main event Wrestlemania...ONCE AGAIN!

Jeff Hardy doesn't need to be in the main event because he's still intercontinental champ. When's the last time he's defended that anyway?

As for other young talent, nobody's really credible right now. I can't blame HHH.

Your right,I can't remember the last time Jeff defend the IC title! But about the young talent, its not that there isn't credible,I mean there is talent like:Elijah Burke,Shelton Benjamin,Carlito,Kenny Dakystra,Matt Hardy,DH Smith,I mean WWE isn't building them up good at all!And Triple H putting himself over isn't helping putting young guys over and thats way it makes my angry, because Triple H is carrying about himself and thats why he put himself in the Mania Main Event!

I totally agree with you WPK. I've been saying this for a while. Great post.

Triple H has been holding guys down for years but the difference back then was that he was in his prime then. He was the top dog and was genuinly entertaining while doing it. But still he shouldn't of been so selfish and paranoid about his spot because he stopped guys like Chris Jericho, Booker T and RVD reaching their true potential. Triple H's feud with Y2J could of been great but Triple H made Jericho look stupid by walking Steph's dog and doing other stuff that decredited the champ. Of course, HHH won the belt from Jericho at 'Mania and consigned him to the upper mid card. He did the same thing with Booker T a few years later. The worst was with RVD though, Van Dm was getting better reactions than HHH and even The Rock back in 2002 but The Game made sure his spot was kept safe by keeping him below the glass ceiling. Even then, at least he was a top notch performer himself.

Fast forward to 2007, Triple H is still an okay wrestler but after all these years and titles, you'd think he'd be wanting to start actually helping other guys get over? No. The only guy he's got over in the past few years is Batista. He mucked up Randy Orton's face turn and title run by forcing it too quickly. And once he returned from injury, Booker T was again the sacrificial lamb. He was beaten in a short match just like WrestleMania 19. Then Triple H rolled over Carlito, Umaga and even Londrick. He didn't hlep get any of them over, they just jobbed to him. Its really quite stupid of him because once guys like him and HBK leave, the new main eventer won't be ready in the fans eyes because they jobbed to Triple H in his twilight. Triple H is a very selfish man. Even after losing to Jeff Hardy, he was laughing after the match depsite it being over the NIC to the WWE Championship. His laughing made it seem a fluke victory so Hardy didn't really benefit. Triple H should of been furious. Anyway, he booked himself to win the Raw EC and go on to WrestleMania when surely Jericho would of been a better choice. And even if Triple H doesn't have himself win the WWE Title, that's still another main event at WM and another title shot. How many more is he going to have? Isn't 11 enough? It's time for him to step out the spotlight and use his popularity to help younger guys. At this point in his career, it doesn't matter if he loses. Fans are just pleased to him wrestling and his credibility will not lower if he loses clean every once in while.

I've always enjoyed HHH the wrestler but I don't agree with some of the things that he's done like holding back people just to put himself in the main events. However I guess anyone with that power would do the exact same thing. He's still one of the top draws on Raw and a great in ring performer.

Triple H was supposed to be in the main event at WM23 with Cena and win the belt , but due to injury he missed out. I dont think he is that big headed that he would use his powers to pu t the belt back on himself. Randy Orton stands up to him backstage and id doubt he would let HHH roll over him like that.

Sure, Randy stands up to him... but Paul Levesque is married to a McMahon. A powerful McMahon. As much as Randy wants to stand up to people, if Vince says, "My son-in-law gets the title," then I'm pretty sure Randy's going to accept that.

As for WPK's sentiment, I fully agree. I don't think the WWE is doing near enough for their young talent. I get the feeling that they're just not trying. I think they'd benefit from a set of writers/a creative team in their 20's, who can help bridge the generational gap to put out a product true WWF/E fans would be happy to watch, as well as the people who truly enjoy what's coming out now.

I have to disagree with you, I think that if anything HHH would want to help the young guys. He has been said to help train give good advice to and all around Help the new guys. But the new guys should not get a title shot, a good story line but not a title shot, + even when he had is last title run it was 1 hour long and was made at the last min. He has not had a Real title shot in a long time.
