"Maple Leaf Muscle".. more like "Maple leaf Missused"

Ok ive been wanting to do a rant on petey williams and how he is being used in tna for the past few years so here it goes.Fell free to put down your opinion on how he is being used in TNA.

Petey williams in 2004 was the x division champ for 5 months. Thats a milestone in TNA. But this hasnt pleased tna since. Petey is a phenominal athelete and is being the missused wrestler on the whole roster. Petey was coached by scott d'amore alongside chris sabin the man who is no where as agile and as good as petey in the ring and is getting pushed for tag gold. Sure petey is now but thats not the point.

Petey has the perfect look. He is chisled and is completely marketable but this isnt good enough for russo and the rest of the creative staff. Petey has easily the best finisher in tna known as the canadian destroyer which to my knowledge has never been kicked out of and TNA still wont give him another title reign. Theyd rather give it to jay lethal and johnny devine. I have nothing against jay lethal he is a great x division athelete but come on johnny devine that is just sour and sad. Petey recently has been stuck with a washed up has been whos genitals would be peas.As you can tell this pee's me off. petey is by far as skilled and more marketable as champ then scott steiner but they do a whole cody rhodes/hardcore holly thing with him. I think TNA need to bring him back to the x division and get rid of johnny devine. Petey has had some of the greatest mathes i have ever seen no matter the outcome. For example aj styles vs Chris sabin vs petey williams ultimate x. Even though petey lost the belt he showed that he was a credible champ and was just a great heel that the crowd loved to hate.

It seems after the whole team canada with d'amore thing has vanished it seems that peteys petential has also. He keeps impressing me in the ring and for some reason there putting an angle promo out on a fotty field or two guys fighting over a mouse. Tna need to think quickly before they end up liek WCW. Petey is like AJ in my opinion they are the future. They both are a decent height,size and have great ptential to put on top class matches. Even though the canadian destroyer demolishes the styles clash they are both the gateway to TNA's success. Also petey aint that bad on the mic either he can make a believeable solid promo without getting personal like angle has to to attract a crowd.

Since Petey has moved fromt he x division it has lost its prestige and we need to see some more shelley,sonjoy,lethal,petey,AJ,Sabin fueds quickly or there will be nothing left except johnny devine which is horribly sad.

The X Division has sadly been ran into the ground.


It's simply become TNA's mid-card title.
