Your thoughts on Mike Adamle's Performance on ECW

Hey guys, for those of you that saw ECW, please tell me your thoughts on Mike Adamle's Performance @ the ECW Broadcast Booth?

ECW is finally dead.

I haven't watched it yet but I'm pretty sure he will be horrible.

Adamle was fine.



He ain't Joey Styles, but this ECW is such a bastardized version of ECW.... it ain't Mike's fault.


It's Vince's fault.

I just watched it and he was pretty bad. He kept talking while the ring announcer was. He called a dropkick a legkick.

I felt bad for Joey he had to sit there the entire time and couldn't say a word.

I've only watched the first five minutes so far - and I've allready heard him refer to wrestlers as 'those guys in the corner.' It took him 30 seconds to say 'Gold Standard.' Hell, I'm allready sick of him!

He has improved, but, as far as word assosciation goes, I'm reminded of one saying: you can't polish a shit!

New ECW Commentator Mike Adamle caused quite a scene during the taping of ECW in London last night. Sources close to the WWE said that Adamle was incredibly nervous before the show went on the air, and drank a few glasses of wine in catering to calm his nerves. He may have pushed his limit, as we've heard stories all day about Adamle's actions over the course of the broadcast on Sci-Fi. Anyone who watched the show heard numerous botches on virtually every match, and at one point the camera showed Adamle reading off his script. Tazz was said to be very annoyed at having to essentially carry the broadcast, and was communicating with the back during most of the show. Adamle was said to have been very unsure of his performance, asking the production crew if he looked alright in front of the camera.

The word backstage is that Mike Adamle will not last long in the ECW commentator position. Vince McMahon was said to have been furious backstage at some of Adamle's mistakes, especially because he spent so long preparing for the broadcast before the show aired

I hope they het rid of him pronto. Taz did carry the broadcast: hell, he was the only reason that I didn't watch it on mute!

The guy sucks so bad it's not even funny. I can't blame Tazz for being annoyed because he did carry the show.
