Angle not happy w/Lockdown Match; Heyman BLASTS Joe

Hey guys, check this out:

Kurt Angle was disappointed with his match at Lockdown with Samoa Joe. Angle did not suffer a concussion or neck injury as was being reported, but did suffer a rib cartilage injury. He then aggravated it by wrestling three nights later against Joe in their rematch.

Meanwhile....

In his latest column for the UK Sun, Paul Heyman goes on a rant about how poorly TNA has marketed Samoa Joe since he won the TNA Title earlier this month. He does a pretty good job explaining the various problems with the way TNA promotes their product and how the company does absolutely nothing to emphasize their unique strengths. Some highlights:

Heyman says, "The live crowd, for the most part, loved [Joe & Angle's MMA-style match]. Customer satisfaction with the TNA product probably reached an all time high with this match. And yet, NOTHING CHANGED!"

He continues, "Why? Because TNA had no marketing campaign behind their new champion. 'Crossing the Line' was done by ECW in 1994. David Sahadi is a genius whose videos deserve massive praise, but the theme is the same as what he did for WWE a half decade ago. What public relations firm was hired to make Samoa Joe 'the IT guy' in today's pop culture? What marketing firm was retained to get the TNA name out there? ... Where's the expansion? Where's the reach-out for the new audience? Where's the strategy to blast past the 1.0 ratings and target a 1.5, dare I say a "2.0" rating?

Not a mistake, just not done right. The way TNA went about it and is still going about the win is not as good as it could have been and can be. Haymen is right they need to stop feeling like 1.0 is good and do better. I do not see TNA promos anywhere but Spike, WWE PVP promos I see on evey channel all the time. TNA its about time you start spending money on telling us about you.

Heyman would be great for TNA, but he doesn't work in wrestling anymore and I am tired of hearing from him...I know he can say what he wants, so don't give shit about that TNAguy, but I don't care what he says now. He has very little few good things to say about the wrestling business in genral because he is bitter...I think he was great for wrestling and I know that he was great for OVW when he was there to book matches because I watch very week and the matches and promos where great...Now he does some net reality show and complains about the wrestling business whenever he gets a chance

TNA will always be overshadowed by the UFC and the WWE because they put the product out there for people to see. Its time TNA expanded its advertising and promotion.
