Jim Ross is back with another JRSBARBQ.com blog - once again here are the highlights:

On Torrie's release:
It was not really a major surprise that lovely Torrie Wilson was released from the WWE this week, as Torrie’s chronic back issues were becoming problematic. Torrie has had an outstanding run in the business and came along in a timely fashion and had some really nice years financially with WCW and WWE...Torrie was always a good sport and worked diligently for the WWE during my days in the corporate tower. She even endured the TV storyline of her father, Al Wilson, and all that entailed.

On the Gregory Helms bar incident:
Gregory "Hurricane" Helms did the smart thing by not over reacting to a negative situation that occurred in, what I understand, a sports bar after 1 a.m. recently. Gregory is a very bright young man who is still on the mend, but he used common sense in not getting involved in any physicality, even though the other guy probably deserved to have his ass kicked. The "nothing good after midnight" rule applies here, but I do applaud Helms for using discretion as the media would have loved to have had another negative wrestling story to headline the TMZ’s of the world.

On Taker being stripped of the title:
For the record, I am not a fan of stripping any one of a title and feel that titles should be won and lost inside the ring. I know I am old school, I get reminded of that on a fairly regular basis, but that’s my story and I am sticking to it.

- At the recent WWE shareholder's meeting it was asked when Umaga would be getting a push. Strange thing to ask but if you factor in his presence at Wrestlemania 23 and the fact that it did more buys than this years it's a valid question for a shareholder to ask. Vince replied by saying Umaga will likely be moving brands soon.

Good to see we get confirmation on the Umaga brand switch thing. Also, I agree with his sentiments of being stripped of the title.

I read that rumor that Umaga was going to SD several months ago and I think it could be a good move..They were trying to build another Umaga with V, but there is no need because Umaga can just go to SD.
I just read that Mickie James may be going to SD as well. I don't know how I feel about that since the Womans Title is on Raw, but I would like to see her feud with Victoria and Natalya. Mickie could have a great old school wrestling match with her.

Reader Rachel sent this in... While reading the new WWE Magazine Superstar Yearbook, I read in the Mickie James article that she might be switching brands. Here is what it said, "Despite the lack of Women's Championship, we wouldn't be surprised to see Mickie moved to SmackDown, where she can thoroughly dominate."

Unless they move the Divas to SD so they can get the TV time they deserve...I won't hold my breath on that one though..
