Brooks noted that she was born with Erb Palsy, which affects the nerves in the arms and discusses the therapy she went through to deal with it and how it affects her work inside the ring today. "We are in a very cosmetic business in which the focus is on looks, body and physicality. For someone such as myself, that is portrayed as a superstar, this is difficult, " said Brooks.
