WWE Wrestler Doing Terminator Gimmick

Should new WWE signee Ryan "Ryback" Reeves get called up to the main roster, it may be under a "Terminator" gimmick. During his most recent stint in Ohio Valley Wrestling, the 6'4", 280 pound wrestler did a "Terminator" gimmick where he's billed from "The Future." He sports a leather vest and wears contact lenses where one eye is red and one eye is blue. Also, the movie's theme song was his personal theme song in OVW. Reeves nabbed his WWE developmental deal back this past week after WWE's recent talent evaluation in Ohio Valley Wrestling.

And this gimmick sounds lame. Some quiet, stalking dude with a black vest and contacts could be call but actually using the Terminator theme tune and being billed from "the future" is way too far. That will instantly make him a joke and judging by this article, he sounds like a serious wrestler as opposed to a comedy one.

Sounds like a guy that will not be used much...Just until his gimmick gets old...then he will disappear into the dark matches

Oh my...the future? This is going to be exciting, watching how the future wrestlers will probably still suck. For this guy's sake, he better be damn good in the ring because that gimmick isn't going to get him anywhere.

All I can say is...the poor guy. This gimmick is going to stink, unless he can somehow pull it off.

I dont get. WWE staff are trying to make WWE more believable yet the come up with a gimmick like this. How intelligent

History shows that every team billed from....THE FUTURE!!!! actually suck pretty bad. Back in the NWA, there was The New Breed who pretty much drew absolutely nothing. 10 years later, there was Tekno Team 2000 with Erik Watts and Chad Fortune who so totally stank as a tag team. Guess they'll never learn.

However, the guy can win me over if he can pull a perfect imitation of Arnold's famous line: "I'll be back!" in full German accent.
