| Hey guys, this season, Deal or No Deal is competing against Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? Who will win the ratings war? Will Howie Mandel and his cast of ladies bring Jeff Foxworthy and his 5th Graders to their knees or will Jeff Foxworthy and his 5th Graders take Howie and his ladies to school? That's the Question! But I do know 1 thing though: SD! and Triple H ain't got nothin' on this. | |

| Deal or No Deal may suffer now that two people have won the million. It kind of takes some of the fun of watching it regularly away. I've seen Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader once before..it was alright. Other people may enjoy it, but it's a lot like any other trivia game. I'll be watching Deal or no Deal. | |

| Deal or No Deal should win because it's actually original and I mean who wants to find out their doctor is smarter then a fifth grader. All Are you Smarter then a fifth grader is proving is how irrealevant all that stuff actually is. By the way, I watch neither now, I watch Deal or No Deal for six months once it debuted and seen Are You Smarter Then a Fifth Grader 6 times maybe. | |

| Hey, I'll watch Deal or No Deal or Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? over SD! and America's Next Top Model ANYDAY. and also, last week, Are You Smarted than a 5th Grader did well in the ratings over Deal or No Deal, I think that this is going to be REAL interesting. | |

Pretty much what I was thinking. All the shows manage to do is glorify the ignorance of Americans. Can you answer 5th grade questions to win money? Many times the answer is no, wow what a smart nation America is. Or your alternative, win money by randomly choosing briefcases and not need to have any sort of intelligence at all!

Or your alternative, win money by randomly choosing briefcases and not need to have any sort of intelligence at all! Well, with Deal or No Deal, thats sort of the point. It's a game show that anyone can do with having any skills so it's easy and impartial (in the fact it favors no one). 5th grade questions are irreavlent as their really just basic but it is horrible to find out that your doctor may not be able to add fractions. Eitherway I watch neither, now, Deal or No Deal gets easy fast. While we're talking about bad game shows I just want to throw in Don't Forget The Lyrics.

Is giving away money to people with no skills really that exciting? I mean these people just stand there and pick numbers, how exciting is it really? And in terms of favouring a particular party, the obvious answer is favouring the contestant because they win money no matter what, but when you get down to the algorithm used to calculate the offers, the offer guy (don't know if he has a name) normally wins out unless you get down to maybe under 3 or 4 boxes.

I never said it was exciting. I usually watch a lot of things I hate, ex. Family Guy. Their is the certain effect of seeing what number is in what case. Your using the favoring thing in the way it was intended. Of course the contestant will be the winning, leaving with money no matter what. The game was develop so people who are smarter don't have an advantage of those who aren't and so on. Plus, the banker is really just an tool of the show, he isn't really needed and they could just have a computer do it. So the banker shouldn't really count.
