Edge Waiting For Christian?

Edge has been ready to return to WWE for a few weeks, but word is officials are waiting on Christian to return with him.

The creative team and Edge have been very quiet regarding his return plans, and many feel it's to have a big return for Christian to WWE.

A Christian/Edge return would be really cool, but I don't know if it would benefit both wrestlers. They will eventually get old and they can't really stay as a tag team forever. Their talent would as well be misused as both wrestlers are main event material. It just wouldn't make sense to me. I would rather them return both, but not as a tag team. I'd rather them return seperately.

I say return them both for a little bit to reamp the WWE Tag Division on Smackdown...and then make them feud over the WWE Championship...now that my friends is TV.

This would be awesome.

Have Edge go after Triple H for the title , and during a title match have Christian return and Take out HHH so Edge can win.

Then they can reign supreme on Smackdown.

Wonth aooen with Triple H there of course but it was a dream.

Like I've said before, if Christian came back, he'll either be in the big picture for a little bit, then fall back into mid-card, or he'll tag with Edge and both are taken out of the main event. Not much to look forward to really after the initial period of return.

I'd love to see Triple H turn heel and recruit a few underlings to carry out his dirty work, he feuds with a face Edge for a while with Edge either winning by DQ or Trips winning through interference. Then Christian returns to help Edge during a post match beatdown by H and his thugs. Then Edge and Christian beat Triple H's gang for the WWE Tag Team Titles and go after Triple H's WWE Title. But it all goes wrong when Edge and Christian are placed in a Triple Threat with Trips and Edge ends up turning heel with a series of unnessecary chairshots on Christian to snatch the belt for himself.

But I really doubt that will happen.

^ If that happened, it would great but I highly doubt the WWE will actually do that.

Triple H spent 5 years as a Heel during his Evolution days , he needs to stay face for a while longer.

Edge sucks as a face. He is one of those guys that can only portray a heel.

Edge was a good face for years in WWE, a very popular one too. Now, he'd be over like crazy as informed fans like him already and with the casual fans on his side too.

I reckon Edge could easily turn back to face and I think he should before the heel persona gets stale. I'd like to see a fresh Edge and in the past he proved it can work.

As much as I liked the E&C days, I can't see it being a good thing for either of them anymore. It worked when WWE had a tag team division. But look at what they have now? Nothing, they'd get lost in the shuffle.

I do agree about Edge turning face again. He was a great face. He's been a great heel too, but he's had the same persona, gimmick, and approach to it for too long. He either needs a new gimmick or to go face again, it's getting a bit stale.

I hope this happens. Chrsitian to WWE woulf be awesome.

I dont think this is true but it would be great for the WWE.

I honestly don't see what either party has to gain from this. Edge and Christian together? Sure, but would they really bring the old gimmick back? And why would we care? The tag titles don't matter anymore. What would they do?

If EC came back that would be the best move WWE have made in a long time.

They really need a few good tag teams atm, and Edge and Christian where one of the best ever. I'd love to see them as Champs again.

Yea! So that E&C can be buried by D-X.

I recieved word that even if Cage was to sign with the WWE he couldn't wrestle until January. Just thought I'd post this.
