Ironman and The Incredible Hulk were the shit...Dark Knights PWNS all other movies this year though.

The Dark Knight. Christian Bale was average, pretty one dimensional, as Batman but Heath Ledger's Joker was the character of the year. Together with a gritty realistic plot and well executed stunts, The Dark Knight was easily the best film of 08 in my opinion. I thought it was just hype when I heard people raving but nah, it really is that good. Nothing else stands out.

300 was out in 2007.

And The Dark Knight kicked the shit out of every Superhero movie evermade.

The late great Heath Ledger made that film what it was with his re-invention of The Joker, and if he doesnt get an Oscar for his performance it will be utter bullshit.

Yeah 300 came out in august of last year. thats like mroe then 18 months ago.

Anyway, Im saying Never Back Down. IMO it is one of the greatest films made and yet it isnt even a Major motion picture. Its on the verge of B-Grade but the film is just Epic. The only well known actor in the film was Djimon Hounsou who you may remember from 'Blood Diamond' which also starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Connelly.

Never back down is a great fighting film and has a great story, Definately a must see for any Mixed Martial Art fan or Movie buff.

The Dark Knight, definitely. Christian Bale was pretty meh, but Heath completely stole the show, and made Batman look good, which means he was doing his job.

Hulk and the French movie Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis. Those movies were the bomb. Tim Roth rocked in the role of the Abomination.

The Dark Knight sucked, it was completely boring as well as Heath's interpretation of the Joker. Jack Nicholson's version of the Joker was so much better, it just made Heath look bad.

The Dark Knight definitely. I don't think I even need an explanation. Statistics, movie revies and other people have said it all.

Ehhhh, I didn't think the Dark Knight was THAT good, nor did it really deserve to break all those records. It was still one of the best of the year, but to say something like it was the best of all-time is a real stretch for me.

As I can't remember what came out this year and what I've watched...I'll just go with Wanted.

I agree baba, At the time i thought the movie was great but when you look back were just all like sheep. We all thought it was going to be good so we went and saw it and no matter what happened we were all going to come out and say it was great.

Ledger was good ill give him that but stuff like the greatest performance ever and TDK being the greatest film ever is a joke to me. I like the film but it isnt even in the top 20 of all time to be honest IMO. Sure, Most successful yeah but it really wasnt that great.

Also Wanted was good but WTF is with the ending LOL

Step Brothers, and all I've seen is the trailers and its still better than Dark Knight.

Actually I went into the film not high on it, never been a fan of the Batman character. I came out thinking it was better than I thought it would be, but still in the overall not what it's made up to be.

Max Payne,The Dark Knight were good movies

OMG Max Payne was so garbage to me. A complete lack of character build-up mixed with plot holes killed it for me.

Max Payne was good, not knock-me-over good but I liked it. And it was way better than the Dark Knight. But you're right baba, the plot could have been better.

Definately the Dark Knight. Ledger made it so enjoyable and different

The Dark Knight - the best movie ever? No, no way in hell.
I loved it, and thought it was easily the best of the year, but it's not the best ever. Not even close.

The Dark Knight, Hancock, and Wall-E were incredible films. Wall-E seemed like a children's flick, but the detail in it is enough to draw anybody in. The best would be The Dark Knight.
