Hey guys, here's a very interesting question for all of you:
Now, the WWE wanted to do their version of Wargames.
When they introduced Hell in a Cell, it became the most dangerous structure in the WWE.
But then, the WWE wanted to spice things up and so, at Armageddon 2000 they came up with the 1st ever
6 Man Hell in a Cell
It consisted of Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H, The Undertaker, Kurt Angle and the man who has NEVER held a World Heavyweight Title Rikishi.
It was a wild match up, but at the end, it was Kurt Angle who won the match and retained the WWE Heavyweight Championship.
But in 2002, the WWE wanted to come up with something omnious, dangerous and even controversial:
The Elimination Chamber
Eric Bischoff, by order of the WWE introduced the world to the Elimination Chamber
It was a combination of the 6 Man Hell in Cell, the Royal Rumble and of course, Wargames.
The Rules were simple:
The Elimination Chamber Rules were simple:
4 wrestlers will be confirmed in the internal chambers
2 wrestlers will start the match
Every 5 minutes another wrestler will enter the ring until everyone of them are involved
A wrestler is eliminated via pinfall or submission
The last remaining wrestler in the ring will be the winner
But there were some memorable moments:
Undertaker chokeslamming Rikishi off the top of the cell and RVD using the 5 Star Frogsplash of the top of the internal chamber and he also did a Spider-Man/Matrix Move
and also, the late Chris Benoit doing a Diving Headbutt off the top of the internal chamber
and so, I ask you all this:
Which do you like better?
6 Man Hell in a Cell or the Elimination Chamber?
Please take your pick.
