Hey guys, here's a question for all of you:
Now, when Transformers and G.I. Joe 1st came out on the Big Screen, both movies have recieved both positive reviews, but it had also recieved critisism mainly due to the deaths of their characters that are seen on the TV Series:
Transformers: The Movie witnessed the death of the Autobots as well as their leader Optimus Prime and I read that many people were not too happy with the animated movie nor the new characters including Unicron.
G.I. Joe: The Movie have also witnessed the death of Duke and I also read that many people were not too happy with the animated movie nor the new characters including Serpentor.
Transformers: The Movie featured the voices of Eric Idle, Judd Nelson, Leonard Nimoy of Star Trek, the late Robert Stack of The Untouchables and Unsolved Mysteries, John Moschitta, Jr. and veteran voice actors Peter Cullen, Frank Welker and Voice Legend and Coutdown King Casey Kasem.
It was also the final role for both Orson Welles and Scatman Crothers best remembered as the voice of Hong Kong Phooey and one of the Harlem Globetrotters.
G.I. Joe: The Movie featured the voices of Don Johnson of Miami Vice and Nash Bridges, the late Burgess Meredith from Batman and Rocky, WWE Hall of Fame Wrestler Sgt. Slaughter, Bill Ratner, Dick Gautier, Michael Bell, Chris Latta, Mary McDonald-Lewis and veteran voice actors Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, Charlie Adler and B.J. Ward.
and so, I ask you all this:
For those of you that saw these films from the 80's
What did you make of them?
Were they good as the TV series or were they bad?
That's the Question!
