Stevie Nicks Tells Lindsay Lohan To 'Stand Back' About Playing Her In Movie
Access Hollywood - April 10, 2009 6:39 AM PDT

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Rock legend Stevie Nicks is sounding off on reports that Lindsay Lohan wants to buy the rights to the Fleetwood Mac singer's life story and play her on the big screen.

"Over my dead body," Nicks told The New York Times Thursday when asked about reports that the young actress was eager to play her.

Adding, "She needs to stop doing drugs and get a grip. Then maybe we'll talk."

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Lindsay's new film, "Labor Pains," will not be released in theaters. Instead, the comedy will premiere on ABC Family, a source for the film's production company, Nu Image/Millennium Films, confirmed to Access.

The movie will debut on the cable channel on July 19 2009, with a DVD release coming in August.

I don't blame Stevie Nicks to be honest. Lohan would just ruin her.

I thought Stevie Nicks was a guy, instead it's just a women trying to be unique and cool, but being unsuccessful *sigh*... and Fleetwood Mac? Damn, they are awful. Easily one of the top 100 lamest bands. This women should be pleased that someone as hot and relevant as Lindsay Lohan wants to play her in a movie. Lindsay's cool.

lol, I did think Stevie Nicks was a dude when I first heard her name with Fleetwood Mac, but Stevie Nicks > Lindsay Lohan. Seriously, I don't find her attractive at all and she's pretty much a laughing stock in Hollywood now.

I thought Stevie Nicks was a goat? That's what she was in South Park anyway.

I think Stevie overreacted, but I can understand her not wanting Lindsay to do it. I want to see people give Lindsay a chance and this isn't going to make her feel very nice.
