| At Backlash two World championship matches are scheduled.
WWE Champion Triple H, Batista & Shane McMahon vs. Randy Orton & The Legacy
and
World Heavyweight Champion John Cena vs. Edge (Last Man Standing Match)
HHH was originally part of the SD roster but has now been drafted to Raw. So the WWE Championship match is strictly raw Superstars but the World Heavyweight Championship match is between A Smack down and Raw Superstar. Will Cena only hold His world heavyweight Championship for a few weeks as Edge will take it off him at backlash or will Edge take the world heavyweight title from Cena Once Again?

In my opinion I think we will see Edge take the gold once again. We need a world championship on Smack down and I think this is how they will do this (Obviously).
Edge will defeat Cena once again *Sigh* But at least it will lead to good feuds between some new Smack down guys.

| I think that they should merge titles and have one Champ on Raw and SD. Especially since MyNetwork might go under, | |

| I think Orton will win and CM Punk will cash in the MITB and take the belt from Orton leading to a Triple Threat Match at Judgement Day between Orton, Triple H, and CM Punk. Punk of course wins and the WWE Title stays on Smackdown. Its kind of ironic how all the belts switched brands, except the ECW Title of course. | |

Same here, that's what I was thinking, too. Maybe Batista might attack Orton like he did Edge last year.

| CM Punk hinted in an interview that he isn't doing the 'Edge' thing this year, which I prefer. Plus, WWE won't have HHH lose to Orton just for Orton to lose seconds later, a month later at Judgement Day (which is held in Chicagoe this year from what I've heard) I can see but, not seconds. I can't see Cena dropping the belt so quickly so CM Punk will probably cash it in (and tell ahead of time) at Judgement Day, where the hometown advantage will favor him, and take one of the championships to Smackdown. | |

| I would actually like to see CM Punk lose his MITB opportunity so that we're not guaranteed it's a sure thing (though I doubt it will happen that way). I'd also like to see Edge *legitimately* beat John Cena in a last man standing setting, though if it does ultimately happen, I'm also pretty sure he'll have an associate help him out.
So I guess that's a yes, I think the World Heavyweight Championship will come to Smackdown after Backlash.
