Raven, Shane Douglas & Victoria To Return To TNA At iMPACT?

This thursday on iMPACT former TNA stars Raven and Shane Douglas return plus the debut of Lisa Marie Varon (Formerly Victoria) on SpikeTV.

The news was revealed during the TNA PPV, when a number was given to text to find out who the two returning stars and debuting "Knockout" would be.

I think that this is great for TNA.

I'm glad that Lisa Marie is coming to TNA and hopefully, she will FINALLY get the respect that she deserves.

and as for Raven and Shane Douglas, I heard rumors about an ECW alliance on there.

Nah, Raven and Shane Douglas have nothing to do with the "ECW alliance" that will be formed soon. I think that they're bringing back former TNA stars for the Slammiversary PPV. Dunno if they'll use the old Slamboree formula where they book wrestling legends in matches but that could be interesting, depending on how it's booked and who's booked.

While I am not sure it's the best decision for TNA business-wise to continue picking up former WWE stars, I definitely think it's good for Victoria that she'll be wrestling there.

Well LM, it's not always about the money, it's about the fans and respect, b/c alot of people that I talked to would LOVE to see her in TNA, and so, what the fans want, the fans get, but regardless, TNA is where the action is.

I thought that Victoria "retired"

Nah, wrestlers rarely ever retire. They come back to bask in the glory because they dont know how to do anything not related to wrestling. I guess you could call it a syndrome.

Retirement Angles don't mean anything, I mean, Trish is retired for now, but as for Lita, she still shows up in Indy Events.

I remember seeing her as a referee on one of the pics from another fansite.

But also, Raven and Shane Douglas coming back will be a treat for TNA.

They're both former NWA World Heavyweight Champions and former ECW World Heavyweight Champions.

Victoria "retired" because she was treated like crap by WWE. With TNA, she can juggle both her wrestling and MMA careers and she seems to be headed right away for a Knockout title match.

It wasn't just Victoria that was treated like garbage, other former Divas, too.

Lita, Jazz, Ivory, Dawn Marie, just to name a few, and plus, I know that some of them would like to work their, too b/c of that light schedule.

and speaking of which, TNA has that lighter schedule, I remember Dawn Marie saying the same thing.

With TNA, you have that Light Schedule and some of the others in TNA wrestles for the Indies like Scott Steiner, he wrestles for the NWA and TNA.

But with the WWE, you have that heavy schedule and that takes a toll on your body.

and also, not to be off topic, but the AWA use to have a lighter schedule as well and also, the NWA had a light schedule, but they still do today and as for ECW, I don't know if they had a light schedule, but WCW had a schedule, too, but it was probably like the WWE, too heavy.

WCW had a heavy schedule too, but less than WWE's. Unless you subscribed to WCW Magazine, you barely even knew WCW had house shows. AWA had light schedules but sometimes, they would go 30 days straight with a show every night. We said that Verne Gagne was past his time at the end of AWA but in the heyday of the promotion, he understood the market very well and he took full advantage of it.

Well I knew that WCW had some heavy traveling, b/c I watched WCW on TNT, TBS and syn. (Monday Nitro, Thunder, Pro, Main Event, Saturday Night & Worldwide) and they always show on TV where WCW have there Live House Shows and also, I even went to the now defunct wcw.com and saw the schedules also.

and BTW, now I know why Arn Anderson left the WWE after 1 year along with Tully Blanchard in November of 1989 b/c he had a 2 year old @ the time, and he said that he flipped completely out and so, he put in his notice and went home and that's when he went to WCW (Formally Known as Jim Crockett Promotions).

Honestly, didn't really see Raven & Stevie's alliance coming. I somehow knew that Raven would end up against Abyss but that's a nice twist.

Yes I did, and I was like, WHOA, No Wonder why he left back then, and now, he's back in the WWE since 2001 and he's a Road Agent and a Sr. Producer for Monday Night RAW.

and also, about Raven and Stevie, I remember that from WCW

When Raven came back to WCW, he and Richards were put into a Strange Relationship and Richards didn't last long in WCW.

Raven would always put Richards in the Evenflow DDT now known as the Raven Effect DDT.

and also, I remember that TNA had Raven vs. Abyss @ No Surrender 2005 in July of 2005 and Raven def. Abyss in a Dog Collar Chain Match to retain the NWA World Heavyweight Championship and then, that's when Rhino debut in TNA.
