Is WWE Replacing Lilian Garcia? - WWE Searching For New Announcer

It would appear that World Wrestling Entertainment is looking to replace Lilian Garcia as the ring announcer of Monday Night Raw. The following was issued to talent agencies today:

WWE Announcer/Singer / Female / All Ethnicities / 20 - 30

Description: WWE is looking for a young, attractive female to sing the national anthem and be our regular ring announcer every week, for one of our most popular TV shows (WWE is estimated to be seen in 500,000,000 households in 150 countries/30 languages)...

This is a breakout job for any young singer. Please specify on submissions if anyone has appeared on American Idol, making the Band or any show of this comparison.

Rate:depends on talent

Although, it should be noted that no one sings the national anthem prior to the weekly SmackDown/ECW tapings — only Raw.

I don't know why I'm surprised. WWE seems to be replacing quite a few people these days. If they are really replacing her it will be interesting to know whether she asked to leave or whether it was the other way around.

Well if she leaves the WWE, then I will stop watching RAW.

The note about nobody singing on SD or ECW is actually what has me thinking that WWE is looking to add someone for SD and ECW instead of replacing Lilian Raw.

Well it might be good for SD! or ECW to have Lilian Garcia do interviews on either of those shows since she did backstage interviews on Sunday Night HEaT and PPV's back then.

Eve Torres still does interviews from time to time on SD! as well.

and I think that SD! is probably going to Lilian on there to join Rey Mysterio, Melina and Eve Torres to draw hispanic viewers in to watch SD! since that's the reason for Mysterio and Melina being BACK on SD!
