SD is lacking faces

With Punk in what appears to be a slow heel turn, SD is severally lacking babyfaces. How knows if Hardy is going to stay with the WWE and he and Mysterio are the only two really over faces. Sure, there is Morrison, but he is not there yet. Kane is in a waste of time fued with Kahli, who still sucks. SD needs Taker back soon.

Yeah, Smackdown has gone from having a talented younger roster to an unbalanced one. Losing 'Taker and Edge were big blows to the blue brand, and WWE hasn't prepared suitable replacements with a great deal of credibility. They're just going to have to push someone promising on the undercard and hope it pays off.

Turning Y2J face is something I don't want too see, but with Punk's heel turn (which if done correctly, will be awesome) imminant, it might have to happen. Jericho seemed bland as a babyface, and has excelled greatly since the switch and subsequent feud with Shawn Michaels.

I think the best move here would be to push John Morrison hard into a main event feud with CM Punk and Chris Jericho. Sure, we've seen JoMo and Punk feud before on ECW but Morrison's shown real talent and promise lately. Plus this way Y2J can stay heel, and CM can be a tweener until a proper series with a face can begin.

Jeff Hardy will Re-sign with WWE. The push that he's been getting will affect his judgement and hopefully seal the deal. Plus there will be a few extra numbers on that contract to, probably.

With that in mind it leave
Mysterio, for a few years before he retires, he's already hinted to it.
Morrison, given a huge push to reach his current status, he'll go to the main event soon.
Jeff Hardy, Prime face on SD, will continue for awhile more
Undertaker, will do his usual long feud with someone...either Punk or Jericho I think...Probably Jericho with Edge out with the injury

Matt could probably turn face when he returns to Smackdown. I read awhile back that WWE noticed the face problem and wanted to move either Matt or Batista over to Smackdown to fill up the main event face scene, and Matt's recently been moved to Smackdown. I don't honestly care if Matt is heel or face I just want to see him get his rightful push for the title and eventually winning of the gold. If that doesn't happen, simply move Morrison up to the main event and keep Hardy heel to fill up for Edge. Morrison already holds a recent victory over CM Punk (world Champion) and put on a great match with Edge, so he is the most logical choice. I don't see Jericho turning face, WWE wants a Taker/Y2J feud and they won't comprise that so he is definitly staying heel. BTW CJ, Kane is heel.

I was just hoping that they would use Kane as a face, since is already way over with the crowd and anyone in a feud with Kahli is wasting their time because he sucks.
I see what you are saying about Morrison, but I think that he needs time as a face.

I think an Edge turn was coming before the injury, so we might see a turn from someone else to compensate for that. Taker is apparently back soon, so that'll add some star power to the Smackdown locker room. Either way, not something I'm all that worried about cause they still have enough star power to carry the brand.

Edge should always stay heel, he nd is a great heel. Edge, Jericho, and Orton are perfect heels. I also think that Kane is being way under used.

Meh, Edge turning face could have been cool to see. It's not like it'd be new to him. I agree that he is an amazing heel but the guy was fucking crazy over with the fans back in 02. I know it's been 7 years but I'm sure he could still leave them standing if he did turn. Plus, it would of made an E&C reunion that little more likely. And the internet fans seem to be blowing their load over the thought of that happening.

I really want Edge to turn face. He is an amazing heel but right now Smackdown is lacking in good guys and I reckon Edge's character could use freshening up with a face turn. As TDG said, back in 2002 Edge was crazy-over with the fans and that was before this monster push. An Edge and Christian reunion would be awesome, I think a lot of people want to see that and it could really boost a PPV buyrate like DXX's return at Vengeance did.

I wonder how many people would remeber E&C as a tag team, they split up nearly 7years ago. I would like to see them re-unite though.

I'd say enough to make it happen. Pretty much every fan on the web remembers or at least seen them through videos. A lot of the people who when heard of a Christian return to WWE posted something about how they want a reunion or a rivalry (it was on this site I use to be on). I myself, want a Christian/Punk rivalry. For some newer fans, if they bought the ladder match dvd, they'll know a little about the team up between the two.

If they were to be a tag team again, who would they feud with at this point? It would have made for great promo segments if Miz and Morrison were still a tag team. The WWE has very few tag teams to speak of right now and that is why it sucks that Edge got hurt. Edge and Jericho could have made a great team for a long time. I think it would have been cool for Jericho to chose Dolph as his new partner, but it appears that that idea has been scrapped.
