News On WWE's Plans For Edge Before His Surgery.

-- WWE's creative team were planning an Edge babyface turn before he suffered an Achilles injury over the weekend. According to sources within WWE, the company has been looking to turn Edge for quite some time to offset the heel-heavy SmackDown roster. He is expected to be out of action until next January, when he could return as a babyface heading into WrestleMania season.

I can't wait for him to return, a face turn for Edge is just what he needs. At least for me to get interested in him again (his team with Jericho was good but, I still was more interested in Jericho then Edge during the week they were champs). Along with Trips, his character got stale to me awhile back, which is why I hope Trips turns heel sometime (keep in mind Orton is the only top heel on Raw). Anyways, I hope they keep with this plan. Although I don't care about an E&C reunion as much as a rivalry between him and Christian for the World title but, maybe Christian could turn sometime after they reunite for awhile (we all know they will at one point).

Hmm, I'm a big fan of Edge's, so tbh I don't mind whether he's face or heel, I like him as both. I guess it'd be nice for a change though, as he has been heel for quite some time now.
