Christian; 4x World Heavyweight Champion

Hey guys, I want to talk about a man who has held World Heavyweight Championship Gold a combined total of 4 times

I'm talking about William Jason Reso better known as Christian Cage

Christian has won the NWA and ECW World Heavyweight Title

During his days in TNA as Christian Cage he has the prestegious NWA World Heavyweight Championship twice

@ Against All Odds 2006, he def. Jeff Jarrett to win his 1st NWA World Heavyweight Title

He would soon lose the belt back to Jarrett in the 3rd King of the Mountain Match @ Slammiversary 2006

@ Final Resolution 2007, Cage regained the NWA World Title for a 2nd time when he def. STING and The Monster Abyss in a 3-Way Elimination Match

But @ Sacrifice 2007, accordiing to nwawrestling.com, Christian Cage was stripped of title by NWA President Robert Trobich and as a result, the NWA Ends arrangement with TNA

and also, in 2009, Christian returned to ECW and he won the ECW World Heavyweight Championship twice as well

@ Backlash 2009, Christian def. The All American-American Jack Swagger to win his 1st ECW World Heavyweight Championship

But @ Extreme Rules, he lost the belt to Tommy Dreamer and @ Night of Champions III, Christian regained the ECW Gold against Dreamer

Christian's Title Reign

1st NWA World Heavyweight Championship Reign lasted 18 weeks
2nd NWA World Heavyweight Championship Reign lasted 17 weeks

Total Combined Reign - 35 weeks

1st ECW World Heavyweight Championship Reign lasted 6 weeks

The WWECW title is not a world heavyweight champion. Anyway, I'm glad he won the NWA world heavyweight championship and even the WWECW championship because I'm a big fan of Christian.

The WWECW title is somewhere between the IC tile and the European title. I hope he gets tthe main roster soon, preferbly SD were he won't get lost in the crowd.

Well some people still like to call it the World Heavyweight Title, but I still like to remember it like that.

But also, the ECW, WWE and Big Gold Belts are still considered World Titles

I mean, remember the Triple Threat Championship Showcase between Triple H, Chris Jericho and Matt Hardy?

The ECW Belt was still considered a World Title, but ECW is known for being the C-Show as SD! is known as the B-Show and RAW as the A-Show

But hey, to each our own

I'm just glad that when Christian went to TNA, he won the NWA World Heavyweight Title from Jeff Jarrett
