If you could book the WWE titles, who would you give them to?
Here are the rules:1. The wrestlers must be on the roster of the show the title is on, ie World Heavy Weight Championship is in SD, so it has to be an SD wrestler.
2.It can be anyone you want, ie mid card, upper card or so on.

Jericho has already thrown him under the bus, and I figured it would set up another feud later on when Christian turns on Edge in favor of Jericho again.

Yep, that one was actually a hard one. I didn't want HHH or John Cena just because I've seen that too much and I only tolerate Randy Orton. I would say MVP but, I really lost care in his character when he turned face. I don't think Shawn should be holding the WWE title at this point in his career. This leaves me with only two choices: Swagger and Dibiase. I'm a bigger fan of Jack Swagger so I choose him.

I want to see Swagger hold a mid-card title and see more of him before he becomes the WWE Champion. HBK isn't going to wrestle enough to carry the WWE title, though that would be pretty cool. I also think that MVP was much better as a heel It would have been better if he would have stayed on SD and stayed heel.

I am the biggest HHH fan that you will ever meet, but even I am tired of that feud. At least remove the WWE title from the feud. What I would like to see HHH do is feud with a heel Batista.

I've booked some of this in the actual context WWE is at the moment if I stepped in as a booker say today. Since creative team failed to create any new stars at the moment, you don't really have any choice but to do so while fans really start to get behind somebody else enough to push him for a title push. That's kinda why I would book Shawn Michaels as the US champion and make him feud with Carlito. HBK can work a solid program with anyone and I think he'd be able to put Carlito over to make him a star and getting him a push for the main event. Once you've been able to create new stars in the upper midcard, then you can start setting Orton and Triple H aside to allow fresh blood to feud over the belt.

Fantasy booking is all good and I mostly agree with every post here but it's easier said than done when it comes down to put it in action. You would all have to take several situations into consideration before putting your bookings into execution so you have to keep a certain sense of balance, not tryin' to book too much new things at the same time.

^I didn't take it into context of in the moment but, rather from Summerslam to Mania. If I did it at the moment, I'd have Cena go over Orton (at Summerslam), Turn HHH heel (although, thats his decision not mine. At Summerslam after losing to Legacy), have Triple H feud with Cena for a little bit, have Orton and Dibiase feud (to elevate Dibiase), when Cena and Trips feud is over have Dibiase step up into the main event against Cena; then have Triple H and Shawn Michaels work with some younger talent to get the mover (e.g. Swagger) and have Orton balance that and the main event.

*Edit* Oh, and Dibiase turns on Legacy sometime after Orton losing his rematch (which will be on Raw).

Seriously though, probably Cryme Tyme, just because they're the only legit tag team still actually around assuming I killed Legacy by booking Ted DiBiase as a potential WWE Champion. But I wouldn't ever have Cryme Tyme beat the Hart Dynasty for the title.
