Curt Hennig wins the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship
Competing as Mr. Perfect, Curt Hennig was considered one of the greatest Intercontinental Champions of all time. Then injury appeared to cut his amazing career short. Hennig shined brightest in September 1997 when he defeated Steve McMichael for the United States Heavyweight Championship on WCW Monday Nitro.
