15 years ago; Ric Flair wins the WCW World Heavyweight Title

Hey guys, I want to take you back 15 years ago this week:

Ric Flair wins the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Vader

Vader was a man who had dominated WCW

Defeating the likes of STING, Ron Simmons, Cactus Jack Mick Foley and the British Bulldog

But it was in 1993 when Vader met up with Ric Flair

Flair and Vader met up @ the Clash of the Champions, but the match ended up in a DQ, but then @ Starrcade, in a rematch, Flair put his career on the line against Vader who put his World Title on the line in Flair Conutry of Charlotte, NC

and so, the match was set:

Ric Flair and Vader were duking it out, but @ the end, it was Ric Flair who pinned Vader, won the match and the WCW World Heavyweight Championship @ the age of 44

It was Flair's 1st Starrcade in only 3 years

However, after the match, Vader was all mad and The Stinger himself, congratulated Ric Flair and they both have complimented each other.

and now, 15 years later, Ric Flair is retired from Professional Wrestling and he is now back home in the NWA managing his 2 sons David and Reid Flair

Harley who was Vader's manager is still in the wrestling business as a trainer and promoter in his hometown of Eldon, MO

and as for Vader, he is now back wrestling in Japan and the Independent Circuit
