Miz is getting a big push due to the NXT thing. Not only is NXT going to lauch the career of Bryan, but it is going to launch the career of Miz too.

Miz was already getting a big push prior to NXT but it's definitely pushing him along quicker. Kane vs. Drew, damn, I wanted Kane in the Money in the Bank match but I can't see him beating McIntyre. The main event should be great.

Miz had a very big role on Tuesday NXT. Hopefully he will get the same treatment for a while. Bryan is obviosly the focus of NXT, so that means Miz will also be the focus of NXT. I can see Kane getting in the MITB, if they are planning to have an IC Title match at Mania.

I just have a problem seeing Kane being the first to beat Drew in one-on-one competitoin for a Money in the Bank qualifying match. I supose a DQ or count out is possible though.

I'd rather try harder on my midterms and assignments. Then maybe I won't be up the night before til 5 AM before realizing I don't know how to do it and hand in my assignment blank...

After that, they changed over the ring apron.

Chris Jericho cut a promo saying he's the best and didn't deserve what happened on Monday. Edge comes out and talked about how he's always spearing Jericho. Jericho hit Edge with the mic but Edge speared him again.

Dolph Ziggler d. John Morrison & R-Truth in a Triple Threat to qualify for MITB. Morrison hit Starship Pain on Truth but Ziggler pulled Morrison out and covered Truth.

Michelle McCool d. Mickie James to win the Women's Title. Vickie Guerrero was the referee. She slapped James while she had McCool rolled up and McCool hit a head kick to win.

Kane d. Drew McIntyre with a kick to the head while Drew was on the ground to qualify for MITB. Drew had cut a promo before the match saying he'd stay undefeated. I guess not.

Miz came out and cut a promo saying that he The Big Show need opponents for WrestleMania. He told Teddy Long to work on that. Long came out and said that since Show isn't here tonight will be singles action. It's Miz vs. Edge tonight.

Shelton Benjamin d. CM Punk to qualify for MITB. Rey distracted Punk, who turned around into Paydirt.

Edge d. Miz with The Spear. It was a good back and forth match.

Edge said that he doesn't want to wait. He wants Batista for the dark main event now!

Edge d. Batista by DQ when Jericho hit The Codebreaker. Matt Hardy, CM Punk and kane all also hit finishers on each other for fun I guess.

Another awesome edition of SD this week. The MITB qualifiers were great, the Miz was great, a good promo segment to open the show, and a good main event.

WWE pretty much hindered the chance of having a great Mania moment by having Drew lose if he is defending the title at Mania. If he loses it, then whoever beats him loses the chance to end Drews streak, take the title, and win at Mania. If Drew retains, I guess it doesn't matter much then.

They have not really made a huge deal about his streak. They have mentioned in on SD, but it has not been a big storyline like Goldberg or Lesnar streak. I am fine with it and it was a heck of a match. The only thing I did not like about SD, McCool wins the title back. Damn it, I was hoping her push would end.

The matches were great this week so clean. Every move besides the Drew vs Kane ending looked right on the money. That triple treat match was just awsome. Dolph going to wrestlemania. Is it me or are all these new guys really stepping up when they get thier chance. The Miz, Sheamus, Drew, etc. And how about Edge taking miz to school tonight miz looked great though but we all knew Edge would win. Just a great show tonight.

SD is outstanding week after week.

Not for nothing, but Miz had that damn match one. He should have beat Edge. I'm sure if Edge wasn't number one contender, Miz would have kicked his ass.

^I think you're letting your bias for Miz getting in the way of your thinking here. It was a very competive match and more proof to why one day Miz will be a World Champion but Edge shouldn't of and wouldn't lost under any circumstance. Even if he wasn't going for the gold at this point, he'd still be returning from injury and I think WWE would continue to roll momentum his direction either way. Good Smackdown from what I saw though.

^^It was better then good, it was excellent. Edge should have won that match. Miz is still the US and Tag Champion, losing to Edge will not harm his career, and it was a good match. It's not like it was a bullshit squash match.

I'm not saying it was a bad SD, I was just being bias. Sorry. You guys are right.

Can't see Miz beating Edge at this point in their careers. But I loved how in the beginning Edge was schooling him. He couldn't even get angry at the Miz. He was get out of here you just a little kid. Then when Miz was looking too good Edge let a bit of the anger out and SPEAR! lol

I think Smackdown was pretty good this week. Haven't seen the last match yet as my sky+ decided not to tape the last part.. but will deffo get around to it. Edge vs Miz must have been a hell of a match.

As for the rest, it wasn't bad. I thought there were some decent matches again, as always the Edge/Jericho segment was entertaining.. and I'm also really happy to see that Dolph Ziggler qualified for MITB. It's about time his talent got noticed. I am surprised that Morrison didn't make it though.. or Punk, for that matter.

Punk and Morrison will be on the Mania card. Punk will probably wrestle Mysterio and there has been a rumor of Morrison turning heel. Maybe he will officially turn at WM.

I'm more concerned about the tag titles at mania then I am a Punk vs Rey match. I would like to see a bigger push for Str8 edge maybe they can compete and win those titles hate Showmiz can't wait until thats finish. We're due to see this girl get in the ring in a fued and I can't wait to see Natalya in the ring again. I can see a nice fued with The Hart Dynesty and Str8 Edge. It would give Str8 Edge some gold, show case the new Talent and bring it back to the tag team days when the Rockers battled Demolition and L.O.D. and Powers of Pain, Hart Foundation etc. etc.
