WWE Monday Night RAW comes fresh off Money In The Bank and we're Live in Tulsa, Oklahoma! We are brought in by the commentary team who remind us that Sheamus retained the WWE Title last night. Tonight we get to see Mark Henry take on Nexus leader Wade Barrett and the rest of Nexus have been banned from ringside. We start off RAW though with a number one contender's match for the WWE Title match at SummerSlam!

Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge

Triple Threat number one contender's match for the WWE Title!

Jericho goes after Orton, but Orton fights him off and does so against Edge as well, but it's not very long before the Canadiens take it to The Viper. They floor him and take turns to beat on him, but as soon as they try an actual double-team move, Orton turns it into a double DDT and momentum swings. Orton then methodically targets the Rated R SuperStar while Jericho is on the outside. As Orton stalks Edge though Jericho comes in and CodeBreakers him. Jericho goes for the cover, but Edge breaks it. Jericho and Edge then go at it at ringside and we go to commercials.

We see that during the commercials Jericho threw Edge hard into the barricade at ringside. Edge and Chris Jericho are still going at it on the outside when we return, but after an exchange Jericho tries getting in the ring only to be taken down via a Viper DDT with Jericho's legs hanging from the middle rope. Edge and Jericho again end up on the outside and Jericho decks Edge at ringside before getting back in the ring to put a sleeper/choke-hold on Randy Orton. Orton gets up and Jericho goes against the ropes, but Orton takes him down with multiple clotheslines and then manages to get a near fall. Edge comes in and Orton continues his momentum to get a near fall on his former Rated RKO partner. Orton then goes after Jericho, but Jericho counters and gets a Walls Of Jericho on The Viper. Orton is a long way from the ropes and he does well to get close, but Jericho pulls him back to the middle. Just as Orton may be about to tap Edge comes in to take Jericho down with an Impaler DDT. Edge gets a near fall and then he foolows up with a stalk and an attempted spear, but Jericho counters for another Walls. The Rated R SuperStar though gets to the ropes fast. He then rolls through and gets a near fall on Jericho. Edge gets up to clothesline Jericho to the outside. Orton stalks Edge, but Edge ducks and turns it into an Edge-o-matic. A near fall. Edge goes for a spear on Orton, but Jericho intercepts and pushes Edge over. Orton then rolls up Jericho and then Edge breaks it up by rolling up Orton. Randy Orton manages to kick out. Edge gets thrown to the outside and Orton sets up Jericho for an RKO but Jericho reverses and goes for a Lionsault. Orton though moves and then gets up to hit it! The RKO! Edge comes in to try and spear Orton, but another RKO! The fans are on their feet as 'One! Two! Three!' they chant as Randy Orton is the new number one contender!

Winner and new number one contender for the WWE Championship: Randy Orton.

We see an advertisment for the new Elimination Chamber DVD.

As we return we have somewhat of a situation. Edge has apparently refused to leave the ring and he's demanding Chris Jericho come back out. Eventually Jericho does and makes his way to ringside. Edge meanwhile says that their rivalry has been going eleven years and Edge now wants it to come to an end tonight. Jericho gets on a mic and gets in the ring and says that he agrees with Edge. However, Jericho says that he pretty much has Nexus in his back pocket, so Edge should be careful what he wishes for because Jericho could get Wade Barrett and co to take Edge out tonight. Edge though says that he could just as easily persuade Nexus to take out the guy who is trying to take all their glory. Music hits and Wade Barrett leads the Nexus to the ring. Barrett says that Nexus would actually be lucky to associated with either of these guys. However, Jericho is right to say that Nexus would end Edges career. Nexus then attack Edge and Jericho has the biggest smile on his face as Nexus take Edge down and leave him laying. Jericho stands over Edge, but then he's also surrounded by Nexus. Barrett then says that Edge was also right when he said Jericho's trying to take their glory. Nexus then proceed to attack Jericho and they leave him laying, just like they did Edge. After the beat-down Nexus leave and we see Edge laid out at ringside and Jericho flattened in the ring.

We see Nexus enter Their locker room and Josh Matthews manages to get a word with Wade Barrett. Barrett pretty much says that Mark Henry is next. Matthews exits the scene and Sheamus comes in to look for a word with Barrett. Barrett invites him into the Nexus locker room, but Sheamus declines. Barrett says "suit yourself" and closes the door, leaving Sheamus in the hall.

Next up we see a segement where Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler are interviewing John Cena who is on the titantron. Cena says that he wants to have a meeting with Nexus in the ring. He says that Nexus say "you're either Nexus or against us". Cena then says that "I guess if you can't beat'm..." - he then exits the picture.

When we come back from commercials Cole and King recap the shocking comments from John Cena.

Eve vs. Maryse w/ Ted DiBiase

Ted joins commentary as the diva's battle it out. Ted boasts about how rich he is in everything he has including Maryse. Ted then tells that this match "by the way" is a number one contender's match for the Diva's Championship. Meanwhile Eve manges to get Maryse down and she gets the pin fall!

Winner and new number one contender for the Diva's Title: Eve.

We notice from replays though that the referee made a mistake, Maryse had her foot under the rope and then on the rope. DiBiase makes the complaint but to no avail. From out of nowhere though John Morrison comes in and tackles DiBiase down. He batters him for a moment and then hits him with the St*r-Ship Pain! Morrison celebrates up the ramp.

Next we see that Shaemus is walking along backstage and he's schedules to come out to the ring after the break.

When we return Sheamus comes out and says that after beating John Cena three times, there's only one word for what Sheamus's victories mean; Dominance! Sheamus boasts about still being Champion and he then tells that he and Nexus as of tonight have a truce. He'll stay out of their way and they'll stay out of his. Sheamus then says that Randy Orton as number one contender means nothing as he plans on being the Champion for a record ammount of time. With that Miz's music hits and the RAW Money In The Bank winner comes down to the ring with mic in hand. Miz says that Sheamus now has a bigger problem than Nexus or Randy Orton; he has a Miz-problem. Miz threatens Sheamus that he could be coming at any time time for the WWE Championship. Miz puts out various possibilities and suggests that he could wait until WrestleMania, or he could go after Sheamus tonight! Miz almost says that he's awesome, but Sheamus interupts and says that Miz's "Nothin'! You're nothin'! I'm the Dublya Dublya E Champion!" Sheamus then goes to leave, but we hear a *BLEEP* and Michael Cole announces on behalf of the GM says that if Miz does want to cash in Money In The Bank tonight then he should stay at ringside because Sheamus is about to be in action against this man...

Sheamus vs. Evan Bourne

Evan comes in to swiftly hit Sheamus with a variety of kicks and a high knee makes Sheamus fall to ringside. Sheamus is agrovated and bashes his arms on the announcer's table as we go to commercials.

As we return we see that Sheamus and Bourne are fighting it out on ringside and they swiftly get back into the ring as we see that during the break Evan Bourne hit Sheamus with a low dropkick while Sheamus was down in the corner. Back in the ring Sheamus takes control and floors Bourne. He then slides out of the ring and drags Bourne's body toward the ring-post and then bow and arrow Bourne around the post. The referee eventually makes him break it and Sheamus then gets back in the ring to continue dominating Evan Bourne. The commentary team talk of possibilities of when Miz will cash in. They also remind everyone of Sheamus's truce with Nexus. In the ring Bourne releases some kicks as he tries to get momentum, but Sheamus quickly takes him down and administer's a sleeper. Sheamus does well to keep the pressure on, but Bourne comes back into it using his speed and a variety of kicks. Sheamus though gets back into it and eventually ends Evan Bourne. One, Two, Three.

Winner: Sheamus.

After the match Miz attacks Sheamus with the MITB Briefcase! The fans are chanting 'Cash It In! Cash It In!' The Miz then performs the Skull-Crushing Finale on the Briefcase! Miz then hands over the Briefcase to cash in Money In The Bank! Justin Roberts announces it, but the referee doesn't ring the bell because Sheamus is still out cold. Miz is itching at the match to get started, but just then R-Truth's music hits! Miz then yells "No!" and gets out the ring and snatches back the Briefcase before making a run for it. He bumps into R-Truth though and they fight it out as Michael Cole reminds everyone that the bell never rang, so Miz has every right to take back the Briefcase.

After the break Miz is complaining to Josh Matthews about not being allowed to cash in. Miz says though that it doesn't matter, it's only a matter of time till he can cash in and when he does, he will win his first WWE Championship. Because he's The Miz and he's awesome.

After a Twix SummerSlam recap of old we see Sheamus walking along backstage with an ice pack, a referee and a medic. Randy Orton approaches and tells him that it doesn't matter who's Champion come SummerSlam because whoever they are they're a target, a bulls-eye and Orton says that he intends to hit that bulls-eye with an RKO!

Jerry Lawler then talks over a short clip. Will Cena offer to join Nexus? We'll find out later tonight.

When we come back we see that John Morrison is on the SummerSlam issue of Muscle & Fitness magazine. The last two years the SummerSlam issue has had both Batista and Triple H on the covers and this year it's John Morrison who shares secrets on how to get rockstar abbs.

William Regal & Zack Ryder vs. Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov

Regal and Ryder do well to target Santino and they are on top of him early on. Santino though manages to get a tag and Kozlov comes in to take Ryder down. He gets a near fall, but Kozlov gets off to take down Regal. Kozlov does the spinebuster on Ryder then tags Santino who comes in to run against the ropes and come in to head-butt a downed Zack Ryder. Santino gets the cover.

Winners: Santino and Kozlov.

We see that Nexus are mid-conversation backstage. Next up is Wade Barrett strictly one-on-one against the World's Strongest Man Mark Henry.

Wade Barrett vs. Mark Henry

As the bell rings Barrett backs off out the ring. He gets back in but then gets decked by Henry to back up out the ring again. Barrett takes his time and comes back in after the count of Six. Barrett does well to hammer away at Henry, but he's having no effect as Henry unloads on Barrett and ends up flooring him with a clothesline and following up with a pin fall attempt. After some time Barrett does get Mark Henry rocking, but it's not for long as Mark Henry takes Barrett down hard with a powerslam. Barrett is down and Henry goes to the middle rope. Wait a minute, Nexus members come out on the stage (technically not at ringside). This is enough of a destraction as Barrett gets up to put Henry on his shoulders, carry him forward and then flip him forward to slam him down with his signature.

Winner: Wade Barrett.

After the match Nexus get into the ring and Barrett gets on the mic to call out John Cena as the commentary team tell that Wade Barrett is as good singular as he is within a group. We go to commercials as Nexus await John Cena.

When we return Nexus are lined up in the ring. We see another replay of Wade Barrett's victory over Mark Henry. Michael Tarver gets on the mic and says that Nexus give Cena their word that they will at least hear him out. He says some stuff about John Cena's actions toward himself and Nexus comrade Darren Young. He then tells that if Cena comes out and shows some remorse, then maybe just maybe Nexus will stop all this. "Remember Cena, this, is all on you." John Cena's music hits and he's not as energetic as usual on his walk to the ring. He stands on the ring apron with a mic in hand. He thanks Nexus for meeting him out there. He gets in the ring and reminds everyone that Nexus have cost him a lot so far. He says that Sheamus made a truce with them earlier and maybe it's something he should've done a long time ago. Cena then asks for a truce. Wade Barrett says that the Nexus' answer is "No." The WWE Universe chant Cena's name as Barrett says that he doesn't want a truce with Cena, he wants Cena to join the Nexus. Barrett says that the Nexus is the future of WWE and that he should join them to take his career ten times above its heights. Barrett then says the "Nexus or against us line" and tells Cena that it's simply one way or another. After some time Cena says "No, I can't do it." Barrett then gives Cena a choice to either leave with his tail between his legs like a coward, or stick around for the beating of his life. John Cena exits and walks off up the ramp. Cena stops under the titantron, mic still in hand, and he says that whether he does it himself or whther he has help; he will take each and every one of them down. He says that the truce was a test. They said No, so now they have to deal with Cena's newly formed team. A team that will take down the Nexus at SummerSlam. John Cena's team... number one is EDGE!...

John Morrison!

R-Truth!

The Great Khali!

Chris Jericho!

and the final member of John Cena's SummerSlam team to take on Nexus seven on seven...

Bret 'The Hitman' Hart!!!

Bret Hart is on team Cena! The WWE SuperStars storm into the ring and Nexus retreat into the audience! Suddenly it's a little more than a level playing field! Bret Hart is well, R-Truth has come back from injury, Edge and Jericho side by side and John Cena has his army ready for SummerSlam!!!

This was another really great Raw. The first match was the best match of the night. The Triple Threat was a PPV quality match and I think that Orton vs Sheamus, the full program will be awesome.

It was really cool seeing Miz come to the ring with a title shot in his hands.

I have to tell you, I almost bought Cena giving up against The Nexus and it appears that this storyline will come to a head at SS. I think that The Nexus should be dismantled after this and split up. Send Gabriel to SD and the rest of them back to FCW.

I know Bret will not be doing any wrestling at SS, but I think it is only fair that he get a little revenge on The Nexus.

Since, it's a multiple tag match, Bret won't probably do anything except maybe taking the hot tag and lock the Sharpshooter on a Nexus member. Team WWE is more than good enough to take care of the rest.

I hope that a No DQ Stip gets added, so that Bret can wear one those Nexus out with a chair, like he did to Vince, at Mania.

^I hope that was sarcastic...

I really wish that they'd have saved this match for Survivor Series. Team Cena vs The Nexus. Hopefully they come up with a way to keep it going til then. Perhaps bringing back Danielson or revealing who the GM could keep it going.

I would also like to see Miz be the first person to cash in MITB and lose. That would be a nice change of pace.

I see what you are saying about saving this match for Survivor Series, but that would mean they have to stretch the Nexus angle for another 4 months. One stip I do want to see is make this an elimination match. The whole thing boils down to Cena vs. Barrett anyway.

I actually watched parts of this Raw. It was actually a really good show. John Cena forming the most fucken awesome team ever, except for Khali. But with the team he has I'm sure they can work him in somewhere with some cool tag team moves for the team matches. And The Miz destroying Shaemus was pretty cool. Not to mention the fact that Bret Hart is on Cena's team.
