Chris Jericho on TNA Wrestling - from Monday Night Mayhem:
"They got nothing else going on, their booking is horrendous, and I say that with the utmost respect for those guys and I most desire to see them succeed, but it’s crap. You know it’s crap, they throw stuff up against the wall, and it’s so hard to watch when it doesn’t have to be. They’re doing 10,000 buys on Pay-Per-View, so let’s bring back The Sandman & Sabu, and maybe they could do 30,000 buys. Go for it; maybe they can do something out of it. Having a guy like Tommy Dreamer involved behind the scenes might be what they need. Get rid of the same old stuff that they have been doing over & over, and bring in someone with a new perspective, and maybe that will help them get their heads out of there asses and just making some money instead of doing this as sort of a vanity project that’s been treading water for the last four years.”
TNA is complete garbage right now. Hell, they can't even rip off the WWE right. WWE's build up to ECW ONS was awesome. TNA has failed big time with Hardcore Justice

| I think that the thing that stands out the most about it other than the quality of the booking is the fact that there always was a connection between WWE and ECW because of the past history between both promotions, with Vince McMahon extending olive branches to ECW to help them out in struggling times at various moments. TNA doesn't have that sort of relationship. It's totally disconnected. WWE used the ECW One Night Stand show for an angle as a way for Vince McMahon to boost his ego by making money out of the show because "he's Vince McMahon and he can". You can't say that for TNA because they made it look like it was a bunch of disgruntled guys that feel like they still have something to prove to the world when in fact, none of them does. They have proven their point in the past and they've done pretty good in their own way. | |

| Vince might have done it for his own ego, but his ego gave these guys the chance to relive their ECW glory, if only for one night. Vince put them back where the first ever ECW PPV ever took place and he put a lot of those guys on the show. All of those ECW guys proved their point back then and this is not going to furhter their legacy, it will only weaken it.
TNA can't do this thing on the same scale as WWE. They can't even put these guys back in Philly. This joke is taking place the same place most other TNA shows take place and there is no connection to ECW, other then the way past their prime guys not being able to perform to their old standards.
