| Former ECW performer Francine Fournier, 38, has declined TNA Wrestling’s invitation to appear at Sunday’s Hardcore Justice.
Following her unceremonious departure from World Wrestling Entertainment in October 2006, Fournier imminently announced her retirement from the professional wrestling industry. Since that time “The Queen of Extreme” has maintained her retirement, though last year she held an ECW reunion show with proceeds from the event donated to the American Cancer Society.

| ^I don't think Dreamer is really to blame here. There a lot of reasons why these people keep turning it down. | |

For fucks sake. WWE were not the first. WWE knocked off many Independent Promotions which did it around 2002-2004. How can you give WWE credit for it if they never did it first.

| Indy promotion could not do anything under the ECW banner. WWE put them in the building where their first PPV took place, twice and they had almost every ECW guy any one would want to see. I don't give a fuck what some Indy thing did, they did not do it like the WWE did. | |

| This is so ironic when you think about it. The best WWE PPV has ever produced in the past decade was a PPV that wasn't even branded as a WWE PPV.
That tells you pretty much how deep in a hole this business actually is when the best PPV to the fans was a nostalgia act.
