Live in Wichita, Kansas, RAW is brought to us with the instant emergence of Nexus. Wade Barrett leads his group to the ring and they are looking extremely pleased with themselves. Last night Barrett wasn't allowed any help from Nexus members, however they did make themselves present - but didn't touch Cena. The locker room emptied and ringside was cleared. In the end it was two other guys that helped Barrett gain victory over Cena. Wade Barrett says that he's identified those two men as Husky Harris and Michael McGillicutty. They were part of NXT's season 2 and Barrett says that he's never even met them before. And they are certainly not part of The Nexus. Barrett talks to his guys and asks why they showed up at ringside anyway, that could've cost them everything. It doesn't matter now, says Barrett as he tells that this is a night of celebration as Nexus welcome their newest member; John Cena! Cena enters, no music, no salute. Nexus applaud him, but Cena's not at all happy. Wade Barrett then passes the mic to Michael Tarver and after reminding Cena that he failed in all that he's wanted to do, he gives a "gift" to John Cena. The Nexus arm band. Cena takes off his purple band, the one that says "Never Give Up" and he puts on the yellow and black. Heath Slater tells him that they're all there for him during this transition. He says that Nexus have prepared a statement for John Cena to read and he'll do it right here and right now. Cena's reluctant, feeling almost like a kid being bullied at school. Cena reads what's on the paper and Wade Barrett smirks as Cena states Nexus' most used phrase; "you're either Nexus or against us." Wade Barrett says that Nexus have a lesson to teach Evan Bourne and Mark Henry tonight. Cena can lead the way, and he can choose his own partner. Cena chooses Michael Tarver and smiles as he steps up to him. Barrett makes it official and Mark Henry and Evan Bourne enter as that match is up first here on Monday Night RAW!

John Cena & Michael Tarver vs. Mark Henry & Evan Bourne

Cena starts against Bourne and shakes his hand. Tarver takes this badly and says "What are you doing, Nexus way! Nexus Way!" Cena then tags Michael Tarver and tells him to show him the Nexus way. Tarver willingly comes in and he takes it to Evan Bourne. What a predicament for John Cena, what's Cena going to do in his first match as a Nexus member? We find out after the break.

When we come back we see that Mark Henry is now dominating Michael Tarver and Cena's standing in the corner quite amused by what he's seeing. Cena almost sarcastically holds out a hand, but Henry and Bourne do well to take Tarver down and get a near fall. Evan Bourne kicks hard at Tarver before Mark Henry comes in and stalks Michael Tarver and Herny knows that Cena's not interested. The closer Tarver gets to Cena's hand, the further Cena moves away and Henry smiles as he stands with all his weight on the chest of Tarver. The World's Strongest Man tags in Evan Bourne and the youngster performs an impressive standing moonsault. Tarver though soon gets a little momentum on Bourne and he goes to tag John Cena but Cena drops to ringside and starts signing autographs! Tarver yells at him to come back and tag him, but in the meantime Evan Bourne tags Mark Henry and the Henry comes in to scoop Tarver up for the World's Strongest Slam! One! Two! Three!

Winners: Mark Henry and Evan Bourne.

After the match Cena gets on mic to make a statement of his own. He says that as the newest member of Nexus he only plans on doing one thing; destroying it from within! "Tonight, I prove that you can be Nexus and against us!" Cena then donks Tarver on the head with the mic and Michael Tarver falls to ringside. John Cena, the ultimate non-conformist then takes it to Tarver at ringside. Cena clotheslines Tarver down before removing the top part of the steel stairs and then lifting Tarver to body slam him right on the pane of the bottom half of the stairs. Good lord, the crowd are on their feet chanting 'One More Time! One More Time!' and Cena obliges, another huge body slam right on the steel stairs. Tarver crumpells in a heap. Cena throws him back in the ring and the crowd are chanting 'STF! STF' and it seems Cena has more fans now than he ever has! STF on Tarver! *BLEEP* *BLEEP* Michael Cole goes to the podium and tells on behalf of the GM that Cena knew what what on the line last night at Hell In A Cell. The terms of the match were clearly outlined and everybody knows that Nexus is a group that is under leadership of Wade Barrett. With this said, John Cena must align with Barrett and work under him and Nexus' cause. If he doesn't then he (the GM) would have no alternative but to terminate Cena's WWE contract. The fans go quiet and this is a shocking announcement from the annonymous GM. Cena found a loop hole, but now he's in between the proverbial rock and hard place. What can he do now, unless he follows Barrett's directions, John Cena will be fired. Cena is in shock and then he walks quietly to the back.

Back from commercials we find out that this Friday Rey Mysterio will make his Syfy in-ring debut against the man that took him out; Alberto Del-Rio.
In the ring Natalya's ready and Alicia Fox just about completes her entrance.

Natalya vs. Alicia Fox

Natalya gets in instant control and quickly gets on the Sharpshooter achieving a swift victory on Fox.
Winner: Natalya.

Michael Cole and Jerry 'The King' Lawler remind us of Edge's attack of the GM's podium last week and how tonight Edge must provide the General Manager with an in-ring appology. Also tonight, Johnny Knoxville joins us to promote Jackass 3D!

Backstage we see Johnny Knoxville talking to Melina and Savannah. Zac Ryder comes in trying a high-five but a huge hand comes into shot taking Ryder down. (Very erm, funny?)

Elsewhere Josh Matthews tries getting a word with John Cena about what he intends to do now. Cena mumbles undecicisvely and then sees Husky Harris and Michael McGillicutty down the hall. Cena chases, but right into Wade Barrett and co. Barrett's lined up with Nexus and Harris and McGillicutty join the picture. Cena tries to walk away, but Barrett stops him, warning him of what's on the line if he goes.

Back from commercials we see Atom, Smash at ringside enjoying RAW.

Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus
Sheamus takes out all his Title losing frustrations on Bryan and he stomps ferociously on the head of Daniel Bryan. The emphaticness is devastating and the referee finally disqualifies him.

Winner by way of Disqualification: Daniel Bryan.

After the bell rings Sheamus finishes Bryan off with a High Cross. The fans boo as Sheamus poses before he exits.

Backstage we see Edge. Will he appologise to the un-named RAW General Manager?

When we come back Cole and King talk over what a predicament John Cena is in and now Cena's in trouble, what will he do? The General Manager's told him you're either Nexus or you're fired. :-(

In the ring Michael Cole stands on the podium with the laptop and says, on behalf of the GM, that the General Manager will now be communicating once again via Michael Cole and the laptop. We then see a video recap of the run-ins Edge has had with RAW's GM. Cole then says, on behalf of the GM, that Edge's actions are unnacceptable and now Edge "the General Manager is waiting." Edge enters and says that he's not going to appologise for anything. He re-claims that he's against all things stupid - including Michael Cole who's been stupid since 1997! *BLEEP* *BLEEP* Tonight we're going to name a new number one contender for the WWE Title - in a twenty man over-the-top-rope battle royal! The winner will face Randy Orton at Bragging Rights! The GM then says that Edge is not going to be in that match, because he's just been traded to SmackDown! Edge says that suits him fine because now he hasn't to deal with this pathetic General Manager anymore. Edge disses Cole and Cole then loses it saying that he demands some respect as the official voice of the WWE. Edge then threatens a spear, but Miz's music hits. Miz and Alex Riley come to the ring and Cole gets out scot-free. Miz and Edge then argue and Edge claims that Miz is an Edge wannabe. Riley defends Miz but then Edge says that the only thing Miz is "Awesome" at, is tapping out to Daniel Bryan. Miz tells that at Bragging Rights in three weeks he'll either be winning the WWE Championship or he'll be leading RAW to victory over SmackDown. Miz once again says he's awesome, but Edge calls him a jackass before batterring Riley and Miz down. Edge sends Miz into the podium and the laptop goes flying again. Edge then spears Alex Riley, but Miz finishes with the Skull-Crushing Finale. A bad send-off for Edge, but Michael Cole loves it as he says "thank God for Miz."

Backstage Wade Barrett tells John Cena that he did him a favour by getting rid of Tarver. Barrett then commands Cena to help him win the battle royal tonight. David Otunga chimes in and says that if Barrett is eliminated then Cena should help one of the rest of them win. Barrett says "no" and tells Cena "you will do what I tell you to do, or you will be fired."

When we come back The Bella's are ready for Diva's tag action in the ring. Layla and Michelle McCool make their entrance and it seems that they have hidden head-sts on, with microphones. We can hear them throughout the contest!

The Bella's vs. Lay-Cool

The Bella's do great in this one and it doesn't last long. Michelle's the only legal one and The Bella twins perform a switch-a-roo before crucifixing McCool into a pin. One! Two! Three!
Winners: The Bella's!

Backstage Maryse accuses Johnny Knoxville of sending those love messages over the past couple of weeks. Ted DiBiase comes on the scene and he yells at Knoxville, but the big hand knocks him down! Maryse sees to Ted and throws her shoes at Johnny before standing in the wrong spot and getting whacked down by the hand again. Knoxville continues saying he's sorry, but Ted and Maryse are looking less like the Million Dollar couple.

Johnny Knoxville comes to the ring and he plugs his new movie; Jackass 3D on October 15th. Knoxville comes and goes to leave quickly, but Ted DiBiase comes out with Maryse on arm and the two of them come down to the ring. Knoxville jokes about DiBiase's manlihood before Ted slaps him and then nails him with Dream Street! Ted and Maryse celebrate as another message comes up on screen; "You Are Mine" it says and then we bizzarely see Goldust enter the ring and take DiBiase down. Goldust gets on mic and says he doesn't want Ted or Maryse... the Million Dollar Championship... Goldust picks up the Belt and cradles it to his body. All this time it's been Goldust after the Million Dollar Belt - Gold meets Gold.

Cole and King talk at commentary about tonight's happenings. We've learned that Edge has been traded to SmackDown and John Cena has joined the Nexus.

Backstage Cena's sitting thinking. David Otunga sits next to him and says that Nexus isn't all bad. Barrett can be demanding, but deep down, Otunga says "We can make this work." Otunga then uncharacteristically pats Cena on the back and says that if he ever wants to talk then he's there for him.

Cole and King talk up the upcoming battle royal. They tell us that one man not involved is Chris Jericho and we're reminded of how Jericho was kicked in the skull last week by WWE Champion Randy Orton. Jericho is out indefinately.

The first 30 mins of Raw was great. It revolved around Cena joining Nexus and then having the GM tell that he had to do what Barrett said or he would be fired.

From 930 to 10, there was like 85 commercials and it really disrupted the momentum of the show. As much as I hate to say it, I did laught at the "high five" gag though.

Raw started to pick up again when Edge came to the ring to apologize. Edge refused to do so and made fun of Cole. Cole claimed to be the voice of the WWE and Edge said he would rather hear a recording of JR then hear a live Micheal Cole. Cole then said that his "Cole Miners" love him. At the end of the segment, Edge was told he was traded to SD, Miz came to the ring to defend Cole, and it appears that Miz will be the leader of Team Raw, at Bragging Rights and Edge will lead Team SD.

Cena is very conflicted about helping Barrett, but he does so because he has to and he made sure that Barrett won the battle royal and that makes Barrett the Number 1 Contender. Yet again, WWE is putting a new talent into the main event spotlight. For people that say WWE doesn't have new stars, they are not paying attention.
