new season

as an nba fan and eager cavs follower, i am waiting with anticipation for the 07/08 season. a lot of questions has rised, will this be the year that KG wins his ring, or will LeBron get a ring? can the pistons regroup? who will be the next champions? what do you think? what do you expect of this season?

The celts I believe will be fighting for a playoff spot despite the big 3. And my fav and hometown team the Raps will proybably make the playoffs, though I don't think they will win their division unfortunately. And my second fav team the G-State Warriors should make it again if Baron can keep himself healthy.

if golden state beats dallas in the playoffs again, i am going to break down laughing! i am looking forward to see what the big trhee can do, but it might just end up as another denver team. all that talent, but no remarkable payoff.

Here's a thought. If you could build a big 3, which 3 positions would you like those all-stars to be?

I think I'd take a PG, SF, and PF

same here since they are the most versatile players on the court. who would you pick? i would go with steve nash, LeBron James, and Kevin Garnett

I think I'd take the same 3 you had, but just for the sake of conversation, I would consider Dwight Howard and Elton Brand for Garnett's spot.

yeah howard's got talent. i don't know about elton brand though. he's good and all, but IMO he needs to take that final step...

Thing I like about Brand is his consistency and his teamwork. He's been able to share the spotlight when guys like Kaman, Cassell, Maggette, etc. have had good years, but he still remained close to his average. Even including his rookie year (which for most players drag down their averages), he's never averaged less than 18 points and 9 boards. The only thing I would want I guess is a bit more height from him.

man the big 3 FROM THE STATE OF TEXAS gonna dominate this year:

Dallas aint gonna forget that upset from Golden State. MVP Dirk Nowistski gonna step up n they may win 60 again this year

seems like the Spurs are unbeatable with Timmy D n Tony Parker. gonna have the best record in the NBA this year

n my team THE ROCKETS, with T-mac, Yao Ming, n Stevie Franchize gonna hold it down. predictin about 55 wins for them


n of course you cant forget about the other western conference powerhouse Phoenix with Steve "ima pass the ball to everyone" Nash givin it up to Amare "alley oooooooop" Stoudamire

Franchise is pretty much done. I don't see him as an impact player at all anymore. A flashy dunk here and there, but just a shadow of what he used to be.

thats all franchise gotta do. he jus gotta hold his own n give it in to Yao or T Mac n we be in good shape
