- Report: WWE Offered Big Money for Jeff Hardy to Stay
Posted by: Wrestling-Radio.com
We have been hearing that WWE tried to convince Jeff Hardyto stay in the days before he left the company. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that at the last minute, WWE offered Hardy a big money deal that would allow him to avoid working house shows, and just work television tapings and pay-per-views.
WWE also want to sign Hardy to a merchandise contract that would permit WWE to continue to create additional merchandise and cash in on his popularity during his hiatus.
Hardy has been receiving many large money offers to wrestle on the independent circuit, but has given no indication he'll wrestle outside a WWE ring. Hardy is off concentrating on trying to get his reality show off the ground.

| gosh, what a waste of money talent-wise ... sure he sells merchandise and that is, for me, the only reason i see why he's still there, because wrestling-wise he sucks ... he's plain boring without the old WWF shit ... | |
